Michael* Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 I'm just checking out a few that are supposed to be good, Girls, The xx, Phoenix, Animal Collective. nothing really stands out yet. I thought The XX was pretty average too, but I went back to it and it does improve with a few more plays. Still can't quite get away with the male singer's voice but the album is definitely a grower. No love for Mumford & Sons? I'm surprised! Haven't really heard them yet, but they used to be Laura Marling's backing band so I guess I like them by association.
