She is fantastic in all The sense

I know What a austictic person means, and if she ménage to raise money with her beauty Who not.

The job is doing is fantastic,in Italy still have few struttcure for them

And to be sincere she deserve all

It's obvious Natalia has a big heart. True beauty inside and outside.

And thanks for the new pic, meloni. You're the best !

Well, I think everyone must be able to have and give an opinion, otherwise please tell us if this topic is only to praise Natalia Vodianova.

Personnaly, I admire some of her ads or editorials, her pictures by Roversi are magnificent, etc, but I agree that her story seems contrived.

She even said once her childhood was not si difficult till her autistic sister was born.

So she is, to me, the best "self-PR officer" ever - because true generosity and charity are discreet. There are hundreds of famous or rich people who help associations, and they even give a part of their own money, without proclaiming it worldwide.

And as a person she is harsh one, who believes she deserves everything. Just an example of which I was a direct witness : on a set, she criticized the director for choosing a more beautiful co-star...

^Hmm hmm...So why can’t you just leave this topic alone? Instead of always leaving such negative comments here.

Natalia Vodianova described how her sister diagnosed with autism has made her strong

Thanks for the interview, Meloni. Flower%20for%20you.gif Really interesting. In fact, some parts were totally heartbreaking to me. I can barely believe the barbaric situations that she and her family had to go through. Poverty, disease and lack of knowledge about how to treat a special child are a sad mix. The whole family becomes helpless before their circumstances. I'm not from Russia and I wouldn't like to offend any Russian person but it's unbelievable the state can't response to these basic needs of families. It's almost a matter of human rights.

I have to agree with Diane. Nobody has to like Natalia and I think that everyone is allowed to express his/her opinion in a respectful way.

Diane ciao it's true ,she is a great selfpr, but because she's the founder of NH and not a volunteer

To grow up a charity is very difficult and what she says about autism it's true,She is doing a great job about that ,which doesn't exist in Italy for example.

Then if she is a harsh person on job,I can't tell you,but since I worked in fashion I know quite well how behave top model.

But I never met her so I can't judge

The only thing I wonder how she manages to go back and forth all the time!!

For the rest I think she'beautiful, lucky and all of us want to deserve everything!

Nice day to all of you

It's interesting to see that natu's (critical) posts have been deleted.

Personnaly, I don't really care about how Natalia Vodianova, or other models, is as a person.

I'm eventually interested in her work as a model.

But seeing this, if I want to know more about her work or her personnality, I will check other sources - it is obvious that this topic is meant to help create an image.

sorry if reposts. Facebook

It is just like we dont already have enough judgmental comments (about her personalitylove life, even her charity works) in this topic. Natu‘s posts have been deleted only because she was talking about other model which is off topic to say.

P.s. From what i see, it's more obvious that you intended to create a bad image of Natalia.  :cain:

Makeup Legend Pat McGrath and Supermodel Natalia Vodianova’s Best Beauty Moments in Vogue (and Beyond)

OCTOBER 27, 2014 4:03 PM
by CATHERINE PIERCY

Ask the makeup artist Pat McGrath when she first met Natalia Vodianova and she doesn’t miss a beat. “It was Los Angeles, 2001, on set for Versus,” she says, recalling the day that photographer Steven Meisel—whose talent for spotting star potential in the industry’s fresh new faces is legendary—first introduced her to the Russian model. “She had the most incredible bone structure. And the color of those eyes—so blue against that skin,” says McGrath of her initial impressions of the nineteen-year-old Vodianova, who hailed from the small town of Nizhny Novgorod, where she had worked at a fruit stand with her mother before being discovered by a model scout and promptly signed. “Steven said ‘this girl is amazing. She’s going to be a star.’”
He was right. Over the next decade, McGrath and Vodianova would work together constantly, “sometimes every day,” recalls McGrath, who prepped the model backstage for runway shows like Yves Saint Laurent and John Galliano, as well as on set for major magazine editorials and campaigns. With her piercing stare, poreless complexion, and ability to convey both girlish innocence and womanly sensuality in the same breath, Vodianova made a prime canvas for McGrath’s visionary use of color. On set for Calvin Klein Collection in the mid-2000s, the makeup artist reimagined her as a bronze goddess with sun-kissed, futuristic skin—an image that would eventually beam down from billboards on high in SoHo; for the cover of i-D magazine, McGrath transformed her into an otherworldly creature with a primal feathered brow and graphic face paint.

It was their work together with Meisel for Vogue, however, that resulted in many of their most memorable on-camera moments. Culminating in a winning mix of fashion and fantasy, McGrath made Vodianova into a decadent flapper with wine-stained lip and diffused grease paint eyes, a Swinging Sixties Twiggy with a pale pink pout and statement-making cat eye, and a modern romantic daydreamer with a shocking lavender mouth. At times the transformations rendered Vodianova almost unrecognizable—like the time McGrath refashioned her into a living reincarnation of fifties supermodel Jean Patchett with arched brows and high precision lips—then frosted her into sixties-era Veruschka-inspired perfection for the same portfolio in the May 2009 issue.

Earlier this year, the collaborators and friends reunited for what may have been the ultimate on-set makeup challenge—with McGrath attempting to execute a glittering winged eye shadow look on Vodianova (who is also this month’s Vogue cover girl) for an original film short. “I’ve known Natalia since she was a baby. I’ve watched her grow up,” says McGrath, reflecting on their near-fifteen-year relationship. “It’s amazing to see what she’s done with her charity work, it’s amazing to see her with her divinely sweet and well-behaved children. She’s gorgeous, yes, but she also has a great sense of humor and a kind heart—and what’s more beautiful than that?”

Natalia Vodianova: "Children should deserve a place in society Sensation"

Last week hosted the III Forum "Every child deserves a family", organized by the "Naked Heart". We talked with Natalia Vodianova on inclusive education, special children, and how to start to smile

Buro 24/7 thank you for became our first guest editor. Tell us what your impressions about this experience?
We have worked very productively. Of course, journalism might not be my permanent profession. But I love to write, more than talk. So I can express my thoughts more clearly. Most of all I remember the online conference with readers. At first it was a bit scary - to read the questions and answer them in stride. I love the look in the eyes, speak to people. For me to communicate with the camera is pretty hard, and with webcam - even harder. But everything went fine, the questions were interesting. I was surprised how much I was comfortable.

As guest editor you wrote to us about the collection of Louis Vuitton. October 20th, you were at the opening of Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. Do you like the new museum?
Frank Gehry is a great architect. This may be his best creation. The Museum is a must see-photographs cannot convey the impression of this building. I think this is a great contribution to Bernard Arnault, the French capital. As always, Paris is the leader in innovation projects, which have no analogues.

Last week the forum "Every child deserves a family", which  organized by your fund "Naked Heart". Tell us about the forums?
In Russia, there are no people who could work on a global level with the children, to achieve significant results. Russia in this area is under the "start-up". We have organizations that are doing a good job. But they are very scattered geographically. There is no communication and mutual assistance, and in large cities there are even incomprehensible competition. We identify the right organizations in the region and begin to supervise them. Conducts master classes, lectures and discussions. The Forum helps to form a professional society. At first, we were criticized, saying, why spend money on something that all post on a comfortable environment, it would be better to put everything in a specific case. But the criticism subsides. We create conditions to ensure that professionals feel human. It is very important to show that their work is noticed. They need to feel important and necessary. These people often take for granted, even as a burden — when they come knocking on your door. "Life with hat in hand." This should be changed. This needs to change.

And how did the idea to organize a FlashMob with letters?
It came up with our team. I helped with a few bright names, Friends of the Fund. We wanted to create suspense, to draw attention to the title of the forum. It is provocative: "Every child deserves a family." This seems to be so clear. But children are somehow obliged to deserve a place in society - a sensation. They should be gifted in mathematics, writing books, better than other twist stopper on the tube ...

Not so long ago there was a film "Class of correction", which raises the problem of inclusive education. Teachers and parents in the film are special children with complete indifference, even irritation. What do you think of these schools is really a lot?
Most likely, yes. Such stories are a majority. Even if you have no features and limitations, but you're just ugly - for you are already ill. Before you choose the theme of education, we went around the school and interviewed about 1,000 people, whether they support inclusive education. The voting was 50 to 50. People still think it will distract their children that will fall in the quality of education. This is an absolute myth. Conversely, when a normal child sees how hard it gives the slightest knowledge of the child with autism, it should spur him to succeed academically. But do not say, inclusion has been portrayed as a compulsion. Children with difficulties in a regular school are difficult, they do not want to accept, to communicate with them. This is a big problem - relationships with people. Nobody knows how to talk about it. Even relatives of such children. And I do not know. When I was walking with my sister, it was obvious that Oksana is special. She might get upset, start screaming in the street. You're embarrassing and got uncomfortable. Any reaction causes aggression. If I was told how to react, everything would be different.

And how to react?
Have to smile and say, "Yes, the girl has autism. She expresses her emotions. We have not picked up a piece of paper - she is angry now." Open, humanly, with a smile. I just did not know how then. Glances of others I perceived painfully. Today would not have this pain, if someone can help me figure this out.

And what helped you?
Specialists and examples. For me it was an absolute revelation, when I saw a boy of 4 years, and then a year later. When he came to the fund, he drooled, he could not communicate. Now he says the words, perceives music, learning to communicate, to look at people. Now he is no longer at the level of the child's temperature. A little more, a little man and make it to your "obschestandartnogo" level. For me it was a shock - I sat and sobbed. I felt very sad that 25 years ago there was no specialists who would help us with my mom to understand that we should fight for Oksana. This fleeting weakness I quickly drew in the force, which now motivates me: how many children should have the chance, which was not Oksana. When I see how my sister talk in our center in Nizhny Novgorod, I understand these people did a good job. Oksana listens to them, because they hear it. They read her gestures, understand or even pretend to understand — it doesn't matter. They communicate with her. I spoke with Oksana quite differently, with love, hugging her, kissing her. Today I talk to her like an adult, tell her something. When 25 years you kept telling that person you absolutely cannot understand, it is difficult to change the attitude of even close.

Last week came the tale of Nikita Medvedev, with whom you have worked, too. Among people with disabilities a lot of talent ...
For us, this is not surprising. Gifted children is really a lot. Even if a child does not have a specific talent, his special gift is to lift the mood, make the world a better place. I really feel sorry for people who don't understand the value of such children. If we have learned to see the wonderful, blessing God, not afraid of the word, we could live in a different way.

Once you said that you started to smile in only 17 years. What should be changed in the country to ensure that people finally learned how to smile?
The country does not need to be changed. Each of us is responsible for how we react to the surrounding. You can not say, "He should start to smile." ou should always start with yourself.

It's sad, these people's lives are so artificial. She's advertising herself left ways right ways sideways, ect. meaning I think she's in it for herself. And these are the people we are supposed to worship. When it's all in your face all the time, you must question why. Does not make sense. And go ahead and delete my posts. Forums are set up to form your mind into a particular view and you can't have anyone coming along and giving the unapproved view. Oh no!
