Someone said on some other forum that Cindy is dull and that she's not versatile and that she could be replaced by any other!!!

IMO versatility is needed when one is nothing special!!! Cindy is so amazing and gorgeous that she does not need to be versatile!!!! Such features are very rare.

hey Ivana  what did you do to solve your url problem?

about Cindy, yes, I hate when some people said things like that, every Supermodel had her own characteristics, they were all different, they didn't have a generic look like nowadays, Cindy was the Sporty, athletic and all american look, Cindy didn't have the chameleonic looks of Linda just like Linda never looked that good in a swimwear like Cindy. and that's why I love them, every one gives me different features.

people may say that. but you know Cindy has the most perfectly classic american beauty I have ever seen! no weird features on her. and it seems that most people think you have to be weird looking to be beautiful nowadays. She had/has perfect facial features. nothing wrog with that. In fact that used to be the only way you could become a model. maybe she wasn't so versatile but you can't deny her beauty! that face is the most famous face since Marilyn Monroe. and there has never been such a famous face since Cindy! maybe never will be.

Eh? Did you forget Angelina Jolie? I'd argue she's much more famous and her lips alone deserve a place in history.

I love Cindy btw :)

hehe thanks for that video! wow that song was popular in the 90's and you know what? It totally reminds me of her!

and about Cindy me and my sister were little girls obsessed with her. We both wanted moles and used to draw them on with eyeliner. My sister was maybe about 10 or so and admitted Cindy was the first person she was ever jealous of...lol too funny she used to draw her revlon ads. We still have them and they are pretty darn good!

Thanks so much for the wonderful pictures. Here are some more of my pics....

Searched the thread and didn't see this. Sorry if a repost!

Cindy Crawford -- Simply The Best

Excellent, extensive Cindy resource fan-site, with a chronological archive-portfolio.

http://simplythebest-cindy.com/

In "Cindy In Advertising", there is a cute story about her appearing for Marshall Field's, a department store in Chicago, and then becoming popular at school. I remember someone talking about that Marshall Field's ad, and it was mentioned on Jay Leno's show as I think one of Cindy's very first gigs, but I have never actually seen it. There is a small (sepia'd) version on the site.
