Posted August 30, 200915 yr i start this thread with Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio (1571 - 1610). i saw one of his paintings on Cole Mohr's blog (such a good surprise!) and it make me thought there wasn't a thread about paining. i discovered his work in 2005 or 2006 because he is a big influence for my favourite photographer, Joel Peter Witkin Biography

September 18, 201014 yr Author no problemo yes the picture and the paint are very similar but in same time this is not a big surprise because Gerard often plays in historical movies. the ones with Madame de Pompadour are lovely
