Kerr, who is a new ambassador for Qantas, turned into a domestic goddess to whip up a cake to mark the occasion in Los Angeles on January 6. "I had a group of friends over and a balloon man and I cooked. I made a gluten-free organic cake for everyone," the Victoria's Secret beauty said. "It was the first time Flynn had eaten cake and, seriously, as soon as I put the cake in front of him, he went and put his face right in it. He is hilarious. "He really is my greatest achievement. He is a little bundle of sunshine." Kerr, Flynn and her husband Orlando Bloom arrived back in LA a day before Flynn's big day, after spending Christmas and the New Year in Australia with her family. "I was straight into the kitchen, cooking. I was more Martha, than Miranda." Kerr said Christmas in Australia was special. "My cousin has a baby who is six months older than Flynn, so to get them together was just really special," she said. "There is almost the same age difference between us as there is between our children, so it is really sweet and we were very close growing up." Kerr, who will be back in Australia next month for David Jones, admitted she had been surprised by a recent scathing article in New York Magazine that painted her as superficial and bland. "That was the first time I had actually been aware of someone writing something in a negative way and I was like, 'OK, fair enough'," she said. With their pet pooch also in tow, the too-cute trio's Los Angeles venture came as the "Three Musketeers" actor happened to be celebrating his 35th birthday. Aside from helping her man ring in his special day, Miss Kerr was fresh off of being announced as the new ambassador for Qantas Airlines. Being toasted at a party the previous evening, the Victoria's Secret beauty said in a statement, "I grew up with Qantas which is such an iconic Australian brand. I’m proud of my Australian heritage and I’m so excited that I will now be able to represent Australia’s premium airline around the world.
