"Karma, Confessions & Holi" (2006/2007) Starring Sushmita Sen, Christopher Walken,Randeep Hooda, Kumar Pallana, Suresh Oberoi, etc. Directed by Manish Gupta. Naomi Campbell as Jennifer. Karma, Confessions & Holi is a movie about five couples getting together over a weekend to celebrate Holi but find that things may not always be what they seem. "Karma is the sum total of all that an individual has done and is currently doing. The effect of these deeds actively creates present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life." Says the Law of Karma. The film is based on the inner conflicts of relationships, which hitherto never spoken earlier, but in a festive atmosphere of Holi, each one loses the inhibitions. The relationships eventually come out stronger. "Karma, Confessions & Holi" is a film about Indian families, their relationships with fellow Americans, their own internal and inter-personal conflicts, which hitherto never spoken earlier, but in a festive atmosphere of Holi, each one loses the inhibitions. Act - 1: It is the eve of Holi, a festival of colours that heralds the coming of spring in India. Dev and Meera plan a get-together with a few close friends and relatives at their place. The invitees are: Javed (Armin Amero) a flamboyant New York based struggling filmmaker and a friend of Dev and Meera, Jenny (Naomi Campbell), Javed's girl friend, an aspiring actor. The relationships eventually come out stronger. Meera (Sushmita Sen) & Dev (Randeep Hooda) play a couple living in New York. After a few years of marriage and togetherness, they seem to have lost the magic in their relationship. She had a really cool 70s afro and looked like Pam Grier! I think it's one of the coolest shoots she did and remember it so fondaly from the time. I guess I lost that mag when I moved to college the year fter it came out Be amazing to see the full thing again. Please narrow your request: Black and white shots? Single? Portrait? Studio?
