A back shot seemed to present a good solution for for photographing this Gianfranco Ferré design bikini (just because there's no top to go along doesn't make this any less a bikini, does it?). Famed photographer, Herb Ritts did a similar shot for a Ferré ad which ran on the back cover of the same issue of Italian Bazaar, in which this appeared. I would suggest that Ritts' style is an "intellectual" approach which uses strong contrast in light, and a somewhat abstracted shape, as compared to mine which I consider more predictable, and sensual. Â
March 3, 20187 yr OMG.  Stunning. I've just looked for a higher res version of it, but haven't found one yet. It does follow a key fashion rule: in any topless bikini shot, the bikini bottom must be black.
