September 28, 200618 yr Did Crouch score with a bicycle It has was a bad week for the italian teams in the CL The Seedorf goal was legit Kaka neaerly got that impossible shot in too! BOOOO to that keeper! booo! and yes, Crouchy did do a bicycle kick 6"7' of technique biatches! :blueeyedbaby: 'twas amazing Milan got screwed that game, Seedorf's goal should have counted Crouch should have brought back the Crouch-bot after that goal
September 29, 200618 yr What was so weird about the tactics in that game? Nothing. I don't know as much about tactics as others because I don't play that's all. The commentator (an ex-player) analysed the tactics for the plays leading up to the Pizzaro goal and the Saha goal. It wasn't confusing, but there were some concepts I thought I should learn about/read up on
September 29, 200618 yr Well. Gala certainly gave Liverpool a run for their money! You should be quite happy with your second half performance

September 29, 200618 yr Like what? Maybe I can help. Although I never actually played at CL level. or have you?

September 30, 200618 yr Some explain to me how to play as a winger, a centre mid and a forward I make really poor decisions
September 30, 200618 yr What exactly do you mean? How one should fill those positions? I all depends on the way the team is playing. For instance, David Albelda and Ruben Baraja fill their position quite differently from say, Claude Makalele. Yet all of them are central midfield players. The same is true for forwards: you can be a deep forward, shadow forward, "kaatsende" forward (don't know the English term for this, it's basically a forward who holds and lays of the ball for incoming midfielders and the other forwards).

I don't know. I normally play a defensive role but I played in midfield last game and I was free roaming pretty much. Didn't really know what to do. We had a lack of forwards so I had to get up and down the pitch a lot Like I tried playing on the wing and couldn't get any good crosses in and I have zero technique and creativity. I just don't know where to stand and when to run etc. I kind of make it up by running non-stop Everything seems so easy when you can sit back and analyse from a bird's eye perspective comapred to playing <_<
October 1, 200618 yr I never played as a winger, but I did play as an advanced right midfield. Basically, I had to watch our rightback's position and adjust. If he went up to give a cross, I had to provide him positional cover, if he was behind me, I had to go up field myself.Positionally the hardest place I stood was attacking midfield (this is where I played most of the time). You have to watch out you don't roam too much, because it leaves a huge gap in the midfield, yet you also don't want to stick too much to your central position, because it takes the sting out of our your offensive game.
October 1, 200618 yr Milan tied again 0-0 <_< Why is it everytime Milan plays a team, there goalie seems to have the game of his life :persuazn:
October 1, 200618 yr There has been a lot of talk of Sheva wanting to back to Italy I haven't seen a lot of Chelsea this year, but has he been playing that bad http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/oct1j.html http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...asts+Sheva+move

You have to watch out you don't roam too much, because it leaves a huge gap in the midfield, yet you also don't want to stick too much to your central position, because it takes the sting out of our your offensive game. I'm an ineffective winger because I have no pace or creativity. I got nothing. And to top it all off, I can't cross for some reason. And I agree, midfield is the hardest because if you roam too much you're bound to be out of position. I'm one of those players that has no positional sense when I play in midfield. I'm attracted to the ball, but at least I can tackle and I can distribute well (enough). Midfield sucks because you can't slack off either <_< maybe I should just stick to defense
October 2, 200618 yr Milan tied again 0-0 <_< Why is it everytime Milan plays a team, there goalie seems to have the game of his life :persuazn: Same with Liverpool. Like seriously. But if you actually watch the game, the goalie only makes a few good saves. The 10 other shots are straight at him <_< Is it like that for Milan as well?
October 2, 200618 yr There has been a lot of talk of Sheva wanting to back to Italy I haven't seen a lot of Chelsea this year, but has he been playing that bad I don't think he's performed well but I haven't watched the games. The Chelsea reporters never say anything about Sheva doing well He hasn't been hitting the back of the net and he's probably not settling into life too well in London I take it
October 2, 200618 yr Inter = One story, one tragedy. Don't worry. Things will pick up. It might coincide with the departure of Mancini though Who's on the Inter hit list? and I don't Rafa or Mourinho will be realistic targets.
