August 21, 200618 yr The Arsenal have Rosicky, Hleb, Cesc Fabregas, Reyes, ...Liverpool have Xabi Alonso, Riise, Carragher, ...No team depends on one player. Not the ones that are playing for the title, at least. But Rooney is very important when it comes to being a threat in front of goal for Man U.

No better evidence than seeing Manyoo score 20 seconds after Rooney takes to the field I've heard all that jazz before. Liverpool fans deny being a one-man team and Arsenal fans do as well. But at the end of the day, when Henry, Rooney and Gerrard are on the field, the whole team gets a morale boost and plays better. It's just the way the cookie crumbles
