Chelsea offered 150 000 pounds/week to Henry.

I'd still choose Barca if I were him. Just because they attack and hold the same values as Arsenal. And you get to reap misery on Chelsea :p

Of course Barca is the better choice if he decides to leave.

btw I remember when Rivaldo left Barca (shame on the managers of Barca  ) he promised he won't go to Real and he kept his promise.

Capello wants to coach Man U some time soon

Hopefully for Man U it's sooner rather than latter

Why would he leave Juve?

He says he wants to make it in the Premiership. Where else to stamp you're authority than on a not-so-tactical lead? If you are the tactically one of the best in Italy, then (provided you understand the nature of the game) you can be one of the best anywhere else. That's the way I see it

p.s. shouldn't your title say Furry fury?! :lost:

You have a point there. Also he is a spainsh champ, an italian champ -> he might want to be an english champ too.

yes I think he wants to collect the trio, but he'll have to pit himself against the likes of Rafa and Mourinho. Capello would make Manyoo into a great team, and you'd see the dominance of English clubs in Europe again I reckon. And if Hitzfeld goes to Real, we're in for a real treat. Juve, Milan and Inter will keep thriving. And they might hire Hiddink too (Y)

Capello always leaves after he finds it to easy

If Capello goes to Man U, they will win the EPL by his second year

Every club he has went to has won Milan, Real, Juve, and even Roma :o

If you can guide Roma to a championship, you can guide anyone, but Roma did have a good team that year (Batigol)

Henry will go to Barca next season, as he will not be able to win anything else with Arsenal :ninja:

Capello is a really good manager.

But Rafa and Mourinho are just as good in my books.

It'll be really good to see who's going to win the title.

Obviously squadwise Chelsea have the edge though <_<

True and he's not going to have Moggi doing his dirty work either

Mourinho and Benitez are good coaches, but I still think Capello is tactically superior to them both

Italy is tactically the best league so he has an advantage :ninja:

True that, but Rafa conquered Juve last year  Doesn't mean anything but yeh... :cain:

All 3 have great records, give Mourinho and Rafa time and they'll have a record like Capello's I reckon.

Capello is one of the top 5 of all time IMO.

And Capello built his team @ Roma to win the Scudetto.. He won the scudetto after three season @ Roma. His fourth season he got second, 1 point behind Juve.

mediapunto is the withdrawn/second striker right?

Like Raul?

Buying Cassano would be bad for Real's image I reckon.

Kuijt is quality, but he's not that great as a striker. He bags the goals, but when you watch him shoot, his shots lack accuracy and power a lot of the time.

Exactly. Raul is still injured so los Blancos need that kind of player. AS daily newspaper from Madrid is writing today about final offensive for this player. Real Madrid offered 5 milions euro for him. The salary of Antonio Cassano in Madrid can amount about 4 milions of euro per annum.

Well if you want to buy a second striker then I'd definitely buy Kuijt! He's class in that position and does so well playing off a main striker. It's his preferred position as well :p

Not sure where he's playing for Feyenoord though (as out-and-out or mediapunto) He played a similar role for Holland, although it was as a right wingforward, but he stuck to the middle more than the wings. He creates play so well and he's always in good positions!

Go Kuijt!

Today Arsenal - ManU.

Unfortunately recent matches between the two were ugly - more fight than football.

Let's hope they will concentrate on football today!

It's official Cassano is on Real Madrid

Milan is making me angry, they want to keep Vieri and sign Zebina

Milan seems to be moving in the wrong direction :idk:

If they sell Vieri now, they can still make some kind of profit :o

and sign someone better than Zebina. He does not impress very much :(

the club does nothing to tackle these radical elements!! they used to let them bring swastikas inton the stadium!!!!

Thats not true, such things happened in the past. I don't remember such events during presidency of Florentino Perez.

this element of fans have been practically eradicated from the English game. there has only been one incident of racist chanting in the English game in the last couple of years and that was West Ham's chanting at Mido. in Spain racist chanting happens everyweek. it seems particularly prevalent in the Bernabeu to me

Here in Poland, every new minister of the interior (equivalent of Home Secretary in UK) is quoting british

example how to fight with pathologys on stadiums. Non of them succeed. I see similar situation in Spain or Italy. Violence on stadiums still takes place. Roberto Carlos was whistled in La Corunia. Austrian national team fooball player was offending polish players before our teams match. Idiots are everywhere.

they tour to gain publicity and gain a foothold in the lucrative far-eastern markets not to promote good sporting attitudes. if they wanted to do that they would crack down on the Ultra Sur!!! when fans of Real are making monkey chants at players and are waving bananas at them (as happened to Eto'o) then it tells you much about the fans. similarly look at the chanting in the Spain-England fixture last year  Madrid and Spain seemingly have a problem :(

They earn in Asia, but they also meet fans. I thinks its important. It shows openness of the Club. I remember that one year ago, President Perez put electronic scanner to check tickets at gates in Santiago Bernabeu. It didn't meet with approval of radical fans. They even left their sector empty in protest.

What its also imortant Ultra Sur is not official unit of the club.

Raul being a goodwill ambassador means nothing. he is one person not the whole Real support :cain:

This opinion confirms that you don't know a lot about Real Madrid. Raul is something more than the player, than the captain. He is symbol of Real Madrid. That what he does is respected by everyone. And that he is a team captain means that he reprsents Real Madrid.

i don't forget that kind of involvement in a club . . . in my mind Real are forever tainted  their successes now don't erase their past associations . . .

That is your point of view, and you have right to think that, but it isn't very objective, and based on strong argumentation.

i've justified it by saying that i don't like involvement with a fascist government. especially not one associated with a certain Mr Hitler <_< . . . then fact that they make no effort to improve upon their past or apologise makes it worse <_<

similarly you are not being objective if you do not acknowledge their fascist past. to pretend it never happened is pure ignorance . . .

but i heard that Spurs were getting Kuyt :cry2:

ummm yeh so? he can support Keane and Defoe

right, i'm back . . .

the fans do Nazi salutes!!!! what more do you want as evidence of radicalism?!!!

Raul is one person not all the fans!!! Robbie Savage spitting on an Italian shirt isn't the entire Welsh population spitting on an Italian shirt and Raul being a nancy-pantsy goodwill-ambassador doesn't impart that title to all Real fans :cain:

you must admit that the motives of Real in the Far-East are totally financial!!!

i know that Ultra-Sur aren't official but the club don't tackle them in any way shape or form. they tolerate the Ultra-Sur and that is a piss-poor example for any big team. if any English clubs (or the English national side) had fans like that then England and English teams would be excluded from Europe for many years as happened (i think unfairly) in the 1980's . . .

every club has a radical element. The Brits just conceal theirs well since the clamp down on hooliganism :cain:

and the ban on all English fans was unfair   BAWHAHAHAAHAHAHA
