and yeh, Madrid fans expect nothing less than 1st High expectations, but when you look at their squad now it's hard to see how they'll be able to achieve that.

Personally I don't expect that, and I didn't expect it at the begining of this season. I will start to expect such things when board brings some really good players at Bernabeu. Real Madrid still have moneys, for huge transfers.

And even with prsent squad and a bit of luck Real Madrid still has a chance in Champions League. I will be angry if they don't eliminate Arsenal. The Gunners are so poor now, that even Real in crisis should do that.

mixed bag of treats. some don't care, some think he's a traitor, others still worship him. I still think he's a good player and I don't care if he's not playing in red (although I would prefer it) but he's definitely not a traitor in my eyes. He done what he had to for his career. Under the circumstances, it was difficult to do anything else.

He's treated like a king at Newcastle. Newcastle play well when he's on the field and they play crap when he's injured (which is almost every away game conveniently). But as someone said about his hat-trick against the Hammers (I read this on soccernet) 'the only thing he contributed to the team were his 3 goals'

He doesn't defend or pass, set-up or anything else. All he does is bag goals after 20 attempts
