Zotti, that was what I thought when I saw the second new pic. In this you see her face better and I only thought: God, she is sooo beautiful.

@Zotti: Yes I think in some pics (among those the first one in the dress) she looks very highfashion-skinny or at least skinny enough.

But after the discussions here in the thread I started looking at portfolios IMG Milan etc. and found that for most of those models (not the celebrities) we are talking really, really skinny. So skinny that those women are probably not fit any more. The exception are the quite young ones (14 and such) where it still comes natural, no hips etc.

And as much as I want Barbara to walk in Milan I want it for her as she is now. She is thin but still very fit (see the Madonna pics, the pic from Style in the knitted 'bathsuit.')

Okay, I'll have to write something in German right now, I hope everybody who can't speak German will forgive me:

Ich muss jetzt mal meinen Frust loswerden^^ Meinen Frust über Barbaras scheiß Termine die ihr immer gegeben werden und so weiter.

Also:

1. Es regt mich tierisch auf wie Barbaras Verträge organisiert sind. Wenn ein Model erfolg haben will (und ich meine richtigen internationalen Erfolg) braucht sie mehr Agenturen. Nicht nur IMG Paris und face your Brand. Ich sage nur Alice, die Gewinnerin von AusNTM, sie hat viele Agenturen und läuft alle großen Shows, okay, sie ist zwar auch größer und einiges schlanker - aber trotzdem, als ob keine anderen Agenturen Barbara haben wollen würden. Sie muss freier werden und zugänglich für andere Agenturen.

2. Es kommt mir bald zur Nase heraus dass Barbara immer wieder zu Events geschickt wird, die ihr modeltechnisch echt NULL weiterhelfen!!! Was soll das? Was soll sie bei komischen Duftverleihungen, bei Preisvergaben an irgendwelche Z-Promis und Modenschauen über scheiß Flugzeugflügel was ihr echt gar nichts bringt? Denn sind wir mal ehrlich und objektiv, solche Sachen interessiert kein Schwein, und wenn, dann nur weitere drittklassige Veranstalter von ebensolchen

Dingen. Gut man kann jetzt sagen, na ja, aber bei den diversen Events steht sie doch immer in der Öffentlichkeit, wird fotografiert, gerät nicht in Vergessenheit, aber wie ich oben schon erwähnt habe, das ist ein Trugschluss. Es ist absolut unnötig und bringt für ihre Karriere nichts.

Es ist erbärmlich und mir tut Barbara echt total leid.

Ja, ich mein, ich kenne die Gegenargumente die bestimmt auch gepostet werden, aber trotzdem. Ich mein, ja, für mich persönlich, als Privatperson, als Barbara-Fan finde natürlich toll sie oft zu sehen.

Finde ich sie hübsch bei den ganzen Sachen? Ja.

Freut es mich von ihr zu hören bei den ganzen Sachen? Ja.

Bringen ihr eine Vielzahl der Termine was? NEIN!

Aber sie hat doch schon ziemlich viel gemacht und wir haben viele schöne Modelbilder gesehen?! Ja, das ist richtig, und das freut mich auch an ihrer Karriere am meisten, aber das war auch nur das Resultat von Castings und "echter" Modelarbeit. Es war zumindest nicht das Ergebnis von einmal bei der Bayerischen Filmpreisverleihung über den roten Teppich zu latschen. Und über eine Sache bin ich mir ganz sicher - Barbara kann mehr! Ihr denkt ihre vergangen Jobs waren viele und beeindruckend? Mag sein, für ein kleines Anfängermodel aus Deutschland ist das gutes Mittelfeld denke ich. Aber es geht noch mehr. Aber nur wenn sich langsam mal was ändert und sie nicht mehr für komische Fashion Towers und Flugzeugflügel und Bon Prix oder so gebucht wird. Das ist doch Pippikram. Zeitverschwendung, Zeit, die besser genutzt werden könnte um ihre Karriere weiterzubringen.

Auch das mit der Berlin Fashion Week freut mich natürlich. Aber auch da können wir mal ehrlich ein. Es ist einfach Schade!! Denn es liegt doch nicht an Barbara, dass sie genommen wurde (für EINE Show), sondern es werden einfach die GNTM Gewinnerinnen im Paket genommen, genau wie letztes Jahr. Und das finde ich schade. Na ja.

Zum Glück ist es in letzter Zeit um einiges besser geworden, das gebe ich zu. Nicht mehr so schlimm wie im ersten Jahr. Der lange Mailand Aufenthalt war endlich mal was richtiges Modelhaftiges. Das freut mich natürlich sehr.

Ich hoffe ihr versteht, dass es natürlich nicht Barbara ist, die mich ankotzt (niemals!), sondern einfach viele Dinge in der Vergangenheit die sich bei mir einfach als Frust aufgestaut haben und jetzt, durch diese Scalaria Air Challenge zum überlaufen gebracht wurden.

Ich weiß nicht ob ich jetzt alles geschrieben habe was mir in den Kopf kam, denn es war wahrlich eine Flut von Gedanken, aber falls mir noch was einfällt, werde ich es posten. Ich hab mich das in der Vergangenheit immer nie getraut, weil ich dachte es könnte als Kritik direkt an ihrer Person angesehen werden, aber ich dachte mir das muss jetzt einfach mal sein. Ich hoffe ihr versteht das, auch wenn ihr vielleicht nicht die gleiche Meinung habt wie ich.

Barbara rulez, und ich will sie als Model sehen, so wie in den letzten Wochen. So gefällt sie mir am besten. Weiter so, Barbara, ich liebe dich. Auch wenn du wahrscheinlich nicht mal weißt dass es mich gibt^^

@ Reeyo: wow, Ich denke genau das Gleiche. Am schlimmsten finde ich, dass sie ausser Img Paris und Face your Brand (eigentlich keine Agentur, sondern Ausbeute) keine Agenturen hat/haben darf . Und ich hoffe, dass diese unnoetigen Galaauftritte weniger werden, da sie ja nun nicht mehr amtierendes "Topmodel" ist. Noch dazu ist sie nicht so kamerageil wie Lena Gercke, die verdient ja ihre dicksten Broetchen immernoch mit ihrem aufgesetzten Laecheln..

So, und naechste Woche schreibt Barbara, dass sie ein Editroial in der Elle/Vogue hat...ja, ist utopisch, aber der Glaube versetzt angeblich Berge und zerstoert bitte nicht meine Illusion

But Berlin Fashion week (despite the 'we take GNTM winners' attitude) I see as a possibility for Barbara to be seen and to practice real runway shows. And last year she was really, really good.

And despite the fact that many of her editorials where based on her winning GNTM they are gorgeous, she learned a lot by doing them (she was after all no model before) and she wouldn't have got them otherwise. Celebrity, Style, Material Girl are really good for her (and other rather succesful girls like Lena M. didn't manage editorials). So the winning was a good start for Barbara and but for IMG she would never ever had the chance for a casting for Vogue, Officiel etc. where she could really show that she has the potential to be a really good model.

She learned a lot this year and when she says that in Milan there are many people who plan to work with her in the future then she really has a chance to work on her career. (And look at Hana's page these days who changed management and has heaps of agencies and has more than 3 years of headstart. Many agencies do not necessarily help). Still I hope that IMG and Face your Brand will do more and better for her in the future.

And I say too: Go Barbara go. Your fans are rooting for you. You have got everything to be really succesful.
