MattLoveModels
what a great opening day. first Yanks lose, then that White Sox pitcher makes that amazing through the legs out, and Heyward HOMERS on his first at bat in the majors.then for the Phils, Halladay dominates and Polanco, his first game back with us, has 6 RBI including a grand slam! Frederick
Why do I get the feeling when she's throwing stuff at her assistants, her ability to land one in the strike zone (in this case, the forehead) is much improved?

Frederick
7-3 in the last ten. The beginning of a home series against the Yankees. May 7th. Not the time to stop believin', Sweet Lu!
MattLoveModels
Jamie Moyer, pitched a complete game shutout at 47 years old. Oldest ever to do so. gotta love it
Sweet Lu
The Phillies are still the team to beat in the NL. Too many sluggers to contend with. And the Sox will sweep a series, get swept, than sweep, than get swept. They look like a .500 team to me. And to be in 4th place in the AL East in May, that is jsut too big a hole to climb out of, especially with the Rays and Yanks playing so great. MattLoveModels
So we have Oswalt now. Seems we always get a good pitcher before the deadline. They're calling us favorites again. We could really use Utley back though
MattLoveModels
I see how popular baseball is this year on bz anyway, we all know why I'm here. Phillies OWN September. Anything less than a world series WIN is a disappointment.

MattLoveModels
C'mon everybody, it's October, or should i say, Doc-tober. No hitter for Halladay in his first career postseason game. He made the best hitting NL team look like FOOLS.Man, if we don't win the world series this year, i mean, i can't see us not doing it. Bring on them Yanks. It's only right. It's only right.Halladay is the best trade the Phils ever did. he ahs been huge. If only they had kept Lee to go along with him AND still gotten Oswalt. damn, that would great. But for this postseason I am a Phillie Phanatic all the way.I agree, they have to be the odds on favorite right now. I think they can take out the Ynaks this year (and come on, we all know the Spankees will be there in the WS)
