Im glad that you like Bg. My street is like 10 min from center. You could ask your uncle for the name.

10 min by car? I'll ask him when he gets back. He actully told me when I first arrived. We went to the center yesterday, my cousin and I. Did you see the picture exibit they have in some park? It was awesome. I'm going out right now with my cousins. Maybe I will post pics if we take some.

Anna Chakvetadze bt Jelena Jankovic 7-6(2) 3-6 6-3 :hell yea!:

Anna's first grass court title, 2nd title this year and 4th overall.

I watched the match. It was the first whole match of Anna's I've watched. She played very well. Jelena was kind of off sometimes due to the rain delays. This computer is kind of slow so I didn't carefully look through the draws. Too bad Roddick has to meet Federer in the semis.

 I'm back from London and Monday's play at Wimbledon where I got severely rained on.

We got there in time for the gates to open at 10.30 and after the lengthy security checks headed straight to the practice courts to see who was getting in some early preparation. There were lots of people crowding round so it was hard to get a vantage point. I saw Radek Stepanek, Juan Martin Del Potro, Dinara Safina, the Radwanska sisters and Maria Sharapova. Literally five minutes after we got there it started to bucket it down with rain and the courts were quickly covered and the players vanished. Dmitry Tursunov actually came out of the players building and signed autographs in the rain which was really nice of him.

We decided to go get some lunch at this point because they announced over the tannoy there was not gonna be any play before 2.30pm. This was my first time at Wimbledon and I must say it's quite a huge step up from the little tournaments like Birmingham. There's so many people and so much going on. Under Court 1 there is a huge food village which has every sort of thing you'd want to eat. We sheltered under an umbrella while the rain appeared to be getting harder and the sky greyer. It was this point that I worried that once again I was not going to see a ball hit in anger.

Then, a ray of sunshine. The skies cleared, the covers came off! We headed to Centre Court. I was worried beforehand that my seats weren't good because they were quite far back but actually it was a very good view. Now I was excited because I was gonna see my tennis idol, Roger Federer, on Wimbledon Centre Court. :woot: The place filled up and he came out wearing his classic style white blazer and trousers which tore off at the knee. His opponent, Gabashvili, started well but after a while Roger kicked it into gear and was just too good in the end. He obviously wasn't playing at 100% though but he didn't need to.

Afterwards I decided to have a look around the outside courts for a while but literally as I got there the rain came again. They uncovered the courts after half an hour and it rained again! :cain: They finally started again at 5.45. Bear in mind I'd only seen one full match so far. I saw the end of Schnyder vs Pin which was a very close affair. I don't think either of them like the grass and Patty's husband certainly didn't look pleased when she had to rescue a match point. She finished off in some style though with a couple of nifty drop shots.

I remember at this point a couple of courts away Alicia Molik was playing and the Aussie fans were going crazy. They were definitely the most vocal on the day - really good supporters. I wanted to watch Henman vs Moya so I realised I wasn't gonna have much time to spend on the outer courts so I decided to make a quick tour and take a few photos.

Back on Centre Henman was levelling up at 2 sets each and they carried on as darkness fell. I saw some highlights of this on TV later and you really can't get a sense of just how dark it actually was. It was freezing cold too. The atmosphere in the stadium was fantastic - the Brits really get behind Tim because he's our only real hope again this year. He had his four match points and everyone in the place was shouting and cheering like mad. It was great fun. Of course he couldn't take his chances and Moya levelled at 5-5 when it was stopped for bad light. I got interviewed by London Capital radio on my way out and they asked me whether I thought Tim could win it the next day. I said yes!

Under Centre Court John McEnroe walked past me wearing his baseball cap and he looked in a real hurry, otherwise I might have asked for an autograph. I don't normally do that but it would have been pretty cool. So I left at about 9.30pm after buying a souvenir Wimbledon towel and having only seen one entire match. At least it was Federer so I'm happy but I definitely hope to get tickets next year for a sunnier day.

Federer did very well. It was a bit of a shame that Safin didn't really start playing well until the third set. He has so much talent but he hates the grass and never really shows up at Wimbledon, otherwise this could have been a great match.

And another Serb breaks through. Tipsarevic took out Gonzo on Court One. Sadly I was at work when this started so missed most of it but it looked really good.

Also missed Chakvetadze losing to Michaella Krajicek! That's one of her worst results of the year, especially given that she won a grass tournament last week. Daniela Hantuchova got through a potentially tricky match with Srebotnik. Justine is still kicking butt and looks in very good form.

Jelena won today. I watched first set and I was sure that shes gonna lose.

Nah, she's pretty hard to stop right now. :)

I hope so.

She has said she's starting to tire though and will take a break after Wimbledon. She just needs to make sure she doesn't tire before the end of next week.

Wow, who saw Serena vs Daniela? Serena cramped (at least it looks like cramp) and still managed to win her next service game and get into a tiebreak. Daniela didn't take her chance to close out the set and then it rained, possibly saving Serena's bacon.

Amazing wins today for both Williams sisters. I'm a long term Daniela Hantuchova fan and I must say it wasn't so nice to see her lose this but I guess I didn't feel as bad as she looked at the end. Serena is just an amazing fighter, astonishing really. And Venus is nearly as good.

I saw a little of Nadal. He looked to be in trouble for a while but he should win now. He's probably gonna have to play several days in a row due to the rain which isn't so good when it's best of 5.

And they'll still show the final in France. Maybe you'd have some chance to watch it.

Soderling is moron.

 They've been playing that match since Saturday! Nadal looked pissed when it started raining again. Fed's sat at home with his feet up. Think the men's final will now be on Monday at the earliest?

Not surprised to see Jankovic losing today. Her schedule is absolutely insane and no matter how much she protests that she prefers matches to practising you've still got to take at least a week off occasionally. She ran out of steam when it mattered most.

Great to see Ana through. I hope she kicks Nicole's ass!
