If you have never been to Southern Brazil then yes she would not look Brazilian.  The three states of the far south - Parana, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul - are all essentially European Countries within Brazil.  Carol's look (Northern Italian) is very common in Rio Grande do Sul; theses areas have more in common with Argentina and Uruguay then Rio de Janiero.

 

Also in NYC the White models from Southern Brazil tend to form one crew and the Portuguese common types form another.  Adriana and Gisele would have very little in common culturally other than language, so they only have a working relationship.  Other from the south include - Jeisa Chiminazzo, Isabeli Fontana, Aline Weber, Cintia Dicker, Sofia Resing.

 

This pic is from Rio Grand do Sul not too far from where Gisele is from.  This is the girls league of the soccer team Gremio.  Nay a typical Brazilian to be found.
