Originally from Moscow, Russia, Kristina Semenovskaia grew up in France, and began her professional career as a model with Karin Models in Paris and New York.

Starting in the mid-1990s, Kristina Semenovskaia held an exclusive makeup-advertising contract with Christian Dior for its perfume, Dune, and for fashion shows, haute couture, and prêt-a-porter. Ms. Semenovskaya also modeled for Jean Paul Gaultier perfumes, Guerlin cosmetics, Chanel, Givenchy, Kenzo, Chloe, Yves Saint Laurent, Lanvin, Celine, Balenciaga, John Galliano, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Pirelli Calendar (Richard Avedon) and Levi’s Jeans. She starred in numerous advertising campaigns for top world brands, which included video commercials as well as modeling contracts.

During her modeling career, Kristina Semenovskaya graced the covers of Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Jalouse, Depeche Mode, Madame Figaro, and many other renowned publications.

Inspired by her famous artist father, Kristina is also a painter. Growing up in Paris and Moscow, she fell in love with art from childhood. Starting in 2009, Kristina began developing an art advisory and interior design and decorating business. Her design and decorating projects range from luxury apartments and villas in Moscow to residences in South of France, Monaco, London, and Malibu. Her art collector clients range from individuals seeking to learn about art and desiring to start collecting to savvy art collectors searching for rare old masters or sought-after modern paintings.

Kristina graduated in 1996 from the Ecole International Bilingue – EIB Paris – International School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts equivalent in sociology from the Moscow State University and subsequently a Bachelor of Arts degree in interior design from the Russian State University of Humanities, Faculty of Design. In 2011, Kristina completed her studies at the Inchbald School of Design in London, and in 2014 she completed Christie’s Education program in History of Art and Art-World Practice, focusing on modern and contemporary art.

One of the representatives of the first wave of Japanese design in Europe, he significantly influenced the fashion in the late 1980s and 1990s. In 2003, Antonio Marras became the new designer of Kenzo. But it was already another generation of designers and another page of fashion history. The professional career of Semenovskaya was part of the fashion era of the 1990s, and this era was nearing completion.

Kristina had the most amazing look: both classic and modern, the image was beyond any fashion rules, it was timeless.

One of the last shows, in which Kristina took part, was the show of Christian Lacroix in 2002. That collection was also significant in its own way: 2002 was especially successful for Christian Lacroix. He became a Knight of the Legion of Honor, created a new design for high-speed train salons for the French railway, created a new uniform for Air France and was invited as a creative director of the fashion house Emilio Pucci.

In 2004, Christina appeared on the cover of Madame Figaro.
