I liked how evil Louis turned out to be, I mean, Blair, you basically said in every episode what do you think and how you feel about your motherchucker and you expect your fiancee to be ok with it I'm so tired of Chuck/Blair sl, they don't have the same chemistry as they used to, there is always something wrong when they decide to be together again.... and their friends keep telling them it's okay because they love each other

Honestly I liked that Blair was with Prince and not somebody from their close circle... I don't know who I'd like Blair and Serena to end up with. I like Dan/Blair dynamic as friends, but I don't know if they'd work as well as ~lovers~. Serena and Dan? ZzzzZZzzZzzz even Serena's delivery of 'always have, always will' (stolen from Blair :persuazn: ) was so snooze-worthy. I used to think Blair and Nate were so not matching, I liked them in season 2 but now it's obvious they don't stand a chance at least it was admitted in the last episode they were together, because seriously, they seem to never mention it in the show anymore and Nate and Blair used to be together for a long time. The only chance they'd be together.... if the writers wanted to surprise us, they'd go with my plan, a ka a few episodes ago, when Blair woke up after the accident, they should have made her lose a bit of her memory, so she'd wake up thinking she's in high school and still with Nate no one would want to tell her the truth, and Nate'd be like: well, why not? Maybe 3rd time's a charm and they'd be together again ;rofl:

Definitely. I still remember some of GG's hotter sex/make out scenes. Can you even remember some parents associations wanted to stop airing the episode in season 3 because it had a threesome? Of course that 3some had the most boring combination of people possible, but still.... and now? oh I liked the last episode... I think that Blair looked much better in her sweat clothes than in her wedding dress and I loved her eye make-up.

I'm not sure why I even watch gossip girl anymore! But I do...

the first few seasons were so good. Fresh story lines, things were exciting. But now it's the same thing over and over again. Everything is recycled. And can Blair's entire reason for not marrying Chuck be anymore bizarre and dramatic?

the funny part is that now with the whole lola/real charlie rhodes story line and nate being the owner or editor or whatever of the newspaper they're trying to act like he has a serious role and what not, but it's still just about blair

It seems to me like Blair has always been the more important girl in the tv series, even though Serena was supposed to be the star of the show. I'm not a hater of Blake Lively, but her scenes are so.... lifeless. It's like she shows up on the set but doesn't even pretend or care what she says, her delivery is so flat... I am aware that Blair is a better-written character but still. Besides, what Serena could be doing now? Higher education storylines weren't interesting enough it seems, so no one goes to college actually, lol.

And Nate as the editor-in-chief still makes me laugh

I think the "lifelessness" is part of blair's character though. She's meant to always be a little flat but a bitch, and Serena is quite obviously the peppy (and annoying if you ask me) one. The story lines are soooo recycled though... I almost am starting to feel kind of embarrassed about the fact that I still watch it I mean georgina popping up out of literally no where... when they think they need to mix things up. They had contracts for 6 seasons. Now the thing is, will the next (last) season be shortened or not.

I agree about stories being recycled, especially with Nate hooking up with every new guest star but I think some storylines are quite interesting. Still, I don't know if it's because the show has been airing since 2007.... and for so many seasons... but so few things are outstanding, in a way. I mean, in season 1&2 there were some iconic (iconic as far as the show is concerned, obviously) outfits and songs and now? I can't think of a lot of scenes from season 3-5 that I like to come back to, because of the dialogues or music.

Too bad Eric is not in the show anymore, and with Taylor gone... no way to see what the reaction of Dan-Blair pairing would be which is ridiculous if you look at their history. Then again, the characters seem to be so forgiving and/or having very bad memories of recent events
