It's funny because when you look at the fans who are the angriest against "Star War's gerbil trilogy" today, they are not the caricature that the Gerbil (and its media shills) depicts. A lot of them were still enthusiastic after TFA and even in the 1st weeks after TLJ's release. What really made them angry is how the Gerbil (and its media shills) insulted them in the wake of TLJ, calling them names (like ____ists or whatever word that ostracises different opinions in Newspeak). Once again, the Gerbil had a very bad marketing strategy

Chapter 7 is the best episode so far. The storyline is finally getting more complex with disruptions/high points and it's finally raising the stakes.

I did notice that their heads were familiar, but I didn't remember it was them, until I heard of it afterwards.

91% audience score. I trust the audience more than the critics (who are comparing it to game of thrones, which is dumb, the two shows have nothing to do with each other).

I just watched Episode 1. It was pretty good. I guess I have to see how the next episode will evolve, but I liked it so far. The actors are all good (I liked the queen actress and the magician / Geralt's depiction is pretty faithful and I liked Cavill's performance), the landscapes are neat, the fights are well played. The score is good, though it's nowhere near the Witcher 3's soundtrack (but the bar is high).

The US and the UK are not "everywhere". There are 7+ billion people on earth. Most of them live in countries where "right" or "left" don't mean anything. If you talk about Western countries, it's called a backlash. Also, you're talking about the political power, but there's the media power (most newspapers are left leaning), the entertainment industry power (which is left - but the dumbest version of the left) and the judiciary power (which is, at least where I live, mostly neutral, but sometimes left leaning on societal issues - but there are conservative judges too). You speak French, so you should listen to or read Mathieu Bock-Côté. -
Scapegoats... Disney, their shills and the twitter activists they pandered to are children who can't face the reality of their failures If Disney had brains in their marketing department, they would see how crazy it was to bring divisive politics in entertainment.

Why do you mention "dudes"? Isn't that discrimination against the women that didn't like Disney's trilogy? There are a lot of them: check "That Star Wars girl", Darth Barbie or Viviane Fonseca. Anyway, your criticism is exactly what Disney and their shills say to defend the movie. That's just a desperate attempt to find scapegoats like the "scary right wing Bogeymen that will eat the hearts of the poor defenseless liberals" The other technique is to call the fans "Russians" or "bots". Why don't they take responsability and admit their failures? Also, Disney and JJ did not listen to criticisms from the fans, that's why the fandom menace hated the movie. They did listen to the fans with the "Mandalorian" and that's why it's popular.

Have you listened to her video? She's criticising the studios' choice to sacrifice certain characters in order to promote others. She's not talking about the date on which the characters were created. She's just saying "it's ok if you want to bring your new or less known characters, just don't do it by sacrificing or demeaning beloved traditional characters". These new (or less traditional) characters are promoted by demeaning old ones and it pisses her (and many people) off. Also, IMHO, studios are brainless to bring politics in entertainment, because today's politics are divisive and divising the audience is the dumbest move

Hollywood is left wing, because of peer pressure, but most of them don't care about politics, they just know they have to abide by the PC rules in order to avoid being eaten alive by the cannibals (their fellow actors/producers), the caimans (left journalists) or the piranhas (the Woke mobs on twitter). I'm sure JK will apologize in the end... the piranhas are the worst and they already smelled the blood. -

Mark is ambivalent. One day he says one thing, then he changes his opinion. Just like with Disney's Star Wars: one day he says it's crap (more or less clearly), the other he promotes it. Then, back and forth again. The media world forces people into a whirlwind of mass hysteria. -
