  1. Cate Blanchett was awesome as Galadriel. I don't know this new actress, but I don't trust anything that comes out of Bezos...
  2. Here's a high profile "intellectual" working on the "the links between the oppression of women and that of non-human animals" What a genius.
  3. Terror on the Prairie is a film directed by Michael Polish with Gina Carano, Samaire Armstrong, Nick Searcy, Matthias Hues, Heath Freeman. It Follows a pioneering family in a newly built farm which is being attacked and they must fight against the gang of outlaws that are terrorizing them. "On the Montana plains, a frontier woman must protect herself against a ruthless gang of outlaws hell-bent on revenge"
  4. I have zero hope for Jeff Bezos' LOTR.
  5. Is this city serious? Is this State serious? Or is it just a giant joke to make the whole world laugh? California seems to be a social experiment of what NOT to do on any issue...
  6. @SympathysSilhouette If you want to understand what CRT is, then this teacher in California explains it. On this portal she shows, they say "the basic tactics are to assume racism is everywhere every day" (it's a quote, check it for yourself - at 7:45). CRT promotes racism, because it feeds on racism, division and hatred.
  7. Looks nice (especially the light effects)! I hear people saying that the environment is beautiful, but a bit uniform throughout the map. Did you think the same?
  8. I hear people saying that the environment is not very diverse in the last Halo game. They say it's basically Vermont everywhere.
  9. Did you read my post? That's exactly what I'm saying. In normal countries (like France), we had this information widely shared by our media from the beginning. But not on CNN and North American media. CNN actually promoted obesity during the pandemic with the body positivity movement (here, sept. 2021). Where are the CNN articles strongly advising people to diet? Anyway, even in France, I think that communication against obesity and bad diets has been too soft. Obesity is a danger for your health (covid and also many other illnesses)

@Stromboli1 This is so good! https://www.petitchef.it/ricette/portata-principale/tagliolini-al-nero-di-seppia-con-gamberi-e-pomodorini-pachino-fid-1563487
  11. Salma Bewbs Hayek... still super hot
  12. Sure. Hmm, yes, that's possible. Are there any statistics on who his audience is? I'd be interested to know. I don't know enough about Oprah, but I know that mainstream women's magazines (Elle, Cosmopolitan, etc.) are also huge advertising platforms. For example, before covid, big movie releases were promoted in women's magazine with actress covers. Jenny McCarthy spread a misinformation (that's 20 year old) on MMR vaccine (a vaccine that saved the lives of millions of kids). There's enough data, hindsight and scientific research to show that what she said is garbage. Also, she's an actress... not a doctor. My understanding is the Rogan uproar is about Pr. Robert Malone. That Prof. may be right or wrong (I dunno), but that's not the same "caliber". I can safely assume that he's more competent than Jenny....
  13. It means that CNN and traditional media are angry that they lost market share. Below the layer of high morality, there's jealousness and commercial warfare. True. Who decides what is misinformation? Brian Stelter says his channel is the best on medical advice. Yet, he's obese (one of the main risk factors for Covid - it's been scientifically proven many times, Covid attacks fat tissues). CNN's articles misinformed people on the danger of obesity. This put the life of hundreds millions at risk. As for Rogan, I don't know enough about him. His shows I really watched in full were with Matthew Walker (professor at Berkley, great sleep expert) and Jon Haidt (professor at NYU). You can't really call these people the usual names (reecist, conspireecist, etc.)
  14. So, why don't you talk to them? Try to convince them that they're wrong. After all, they're fellow human beings, they could benefit from your advices, and who knows, below their layer of anger, they might have something interesting to say. This woman from your article could be convinced by you. She's wrong to reject RB's book, but she talks about redemption. So, she's not a supremist, she's an angry mom. Anger can be appeased. Solidarity is what we need in 2022, not divisiveness.
  15. That's probably the real reason why Brian Stelter's fee-fees are hurt...
  16. It looks good! I hope they improved the gameplay, because that's what was lagging behind in the first game.
  17. "People"? I'm curious to know who these "people" are. And in any case, it never hurts to ask other people's opinion.
