She's so naturally facially photogenic, there's rarely a photo in which she doesn't look beautiful. Maybe it's just my personal preference, but I don't think that's true of most other models.

I'm glad you agree that it's a bad habit, I think most agree that's it's an unhealthy and highly unattractive trait. It's a shame so many (not all) high profile models choose to go down that road but I suspect the industry itself is as much to blame with the pressure to stay so thin. Not nice to see.

Are we really defending smoking now, just because our favorite model partakes in the disgusting habit? come on... I get why they do it, smoking helps them keep their weight down but it's unhealthy and carcinogenic and shouldn't be endorsed by anyone.

She mentioned she was very determined at the beginning and I think it shows. It sounds like she worked hard to get where she is, that's maybe reflected in her command of the language too. Her video was kinda inspirational to anyone working towards goals of their own. I dunno, she seemed kind of shy and slightly unsure of herself on that radio interview she did posted a few pages back but being an internal emotion shyness probably isn't best judged from the outside.

Third group for me, I prefer a little meat on the bones. I wouldn't hold it against them too much. They cater to their audience and the average person has no clue about the distinction. I didn't myself until a couple of months ago.

I don't hear the British (presumably English?) accent to be honest, she sounds more Antipodean and American. Stella says she's from the UK, but apparently she was born and raised in Belgium, then Australia & New Zealand. Her parents are from Northern Ireland, so if anything she would have an Northern Irish accent and I can't hear that at all. On the not smiling thing, I think it's as others surmised, she has been informed that she looks better in photographs when she doesn't smile. I believe that may be the same reason Victoria Beckham does not smile.

I don't follow models much at all, but Sara Sampaio looked facially beautiful to me in photos so she kind of caught my attention. However, I actually saw her at the airport a couple of days ago, and found the reality to be markedly different. She is painfully thin, and in truth not much better looking than the average girl (imo 7.5 or 8/10). It was an eye-opener as I had never seen a "supermodel" in the flesh before. The make-up artists, hair stylists and photographers really do quite a job on them. On the pizza thing, she can eat a slice of pizza every day if she wanted. At 300 calories or so it's only a 1/5th of maintenance (1,500 cals) for a female.
