Don't know if Youtube counts as Social Media, but sometimes I always see people complaining about how VS is wasting millions of dollars on a "useless" piece of lingerie. Sometimes they get riled up and act like it's the worst thing on earth.. .

people throwing a fit because Lily and Behati were the girls leading the finale.I honestly think they'll keep pretty much every girl they've signed. I still don't think Josephine is an angel. Only because look at Lais. She wasn't an angel and worked so much with the company and at least in her non angel run she was pretty much in every VS commercial. Seriously she did more commercial work then Adriana and Alessandra. VS haven't once used Josephine for any of their commercials. That to me is a sign she isn't an angel and most likely won't be. But we will see during the show cause they could give her a credit. But yeah I think they'll still keep the new Angels around for at least another year. Maybe not Kate but I hope to see her do some work with the company. She would be fantastic in commercials and in the swim special. I hope that the swim special is done a bit better this year too. Less fake stuff like volleyball, making smoothies etc and actually show them shooting swim and do more interviews. Make it seem more about the girls and the behind the scenes look at the shoot. Also VS release some pictures next time. They did this whole swim shoot and they didn't release many of the pictures. If she gets a credit then to me this is pretty much a sign as a shoe in. Many angels signed after 2010 or so have been featured in the credits at least once. Sure, it wasn't all of them, and sure sometimes it took a while, but eventually a lot of them were signed.

I do think that the term of supermodel is more of an era thing. Back in the 80s/90s, Hollywood wasn't as star obsessed as it is today. So many models were the ones getting the contracts for brands, photoshoots and magazine covers. And it sold because they looked normal, they looked tall but not too lanky looking or too skinny or too fat. But then in the late 90s and early 2000s, reality tv and star life became what Hollywood wanted to fawn over. People didn't give a flying shit about fashion no more than that. They wanted to know which actress was dating who, who was preggers and who was washed up. They didn't have time to care about silly models who began looking skinny, boy like bodies and androgynous. Imo, they're will never be a replica of the original supermodels or what is seen as the era of supermodels (the late 80s/90s big names). As Hollywood and the media just doesn't care to much about fashion. It's only a small circle of fans that models appeal to. Not your everyday average joe, who more than likely will love or like the acting works of say, Jennifer Lawrence. But, if we do use the term supermodel as a model who can break both mainstream and hf, and still stay in the public eye, then Gisele is one to beat. But even then I'm doubtful of her star power. Truth is, as I said above, the original supermodel era is dead. No model, not even Gisele will ever replicate completely the success of those from the 90s. I do think though, a new trend is happening. The social media model movement. Afterall, as fashion is a close knit circle, how else will they still relevant unless you know them on instagram or twitter or tumblr?

Her outfits are okay. Also, her and her bf are kinda cute .

I've always wanted her to walk the show, but I don't think she will which is a blessing if the show continues down this route

^ Yes. She's VS's new Answer to Cara imo, except she has more potential to become an Angel (yes, I dare say that) and she got 2 outfits and even a little tidbit about her. I expect nothing less for Kendall and Gigi.

^ I don't like it either, but it was bound to happen with 10 New Angels who most people don't a flying crap about save for one or two. If that bit's true. Don't feel like rereading 10 pages..

Although we all know that lipsyncing or a track will be played in the bg to help the singer, Selena's somewhat improved from what I've heard at on Ellen as opposed to 2011 or 2013. Just pointing that out there for the performers.

That's kinda messed up considering she was in her ex-boyfriend's music video for the song "Surfboard" lol Don't they play the recorded track in the background while the singer sings during the performance to help them? So this shouldn't be an issue. I mean, for TS's I Knew You were Trouble, you could obviously hear other voices singing "Oh" and other lyrics when she was the only singer on stage singing. Also, who knows? A trip down memory lane for Gigi.

I'd love Ellie to sing Burn during the Fireworks segement, it's one of the only songs of hers that I like though haha.

Yeah, seems real to me.. unless she's been taking acting lessons or tips from a certain actress that starred in True Grit.. How much angels have actually walked more than 2 shows after the contract expires? Besides, they could've said no and all that working out or prep talk in confidence goes down the drain..

As far as I can remember or a quick google search confirms, once an angel contract expires, the model typically doesn't walk, or walks a show or two (as with Selita) then it's done. This is what, her 8th show after getting the boot?
