I don't know. I use to think she was her 6'1 claim then I saw her standing beside Jac (who I've seen listed as 5'10-5'11 agencies and is around that height because she's around the same height as Romee and Kate G) and they're about the same height in sneakers, but in the Angels Time Square event Lais had around an inch on her.. but they were wearing heels so idk. I do think though Lais is probably 5'11.5 though. Which is still taller than all the other angels.

Regardless of that, I still love her as a model. :). But models heights have always fascinated me. Sorry if I got off topic.

I remembered on her Instagram Lais claimed to stand at 6'1.. I know she's tall.. but I don't think that tall next to other models or her basketball bf.. 

Oh yeah, somethings that's always been bugging me about Karlie. When everyone hated her for her body despite several angels having around similar bone structure and getting no hate, is it because Karlie's taller and looked more lanky so it stood out more? I mean, looking at the pics, most of the angels did not reach past Karlie's eyebrows. Maybe except for Erin and people seemed to be okay with her.

I'm sorry if this sounded obvious but I still don't get the hate for Karlie's body (yeah I'm late on that haha), but I was thinking it was her height? Cause I'm sure if Karlie was as tall as say Doutzen and had more had shorter limbs it'd probably look more better..

The 1 million for 3 years is probably for the lesser angels.. I remembered a report about Miranda signing that contract and I'm sure Doutzen probably too. I mean, her earnings if Forbes' guess is near to it, stated that her earnings only went down by half a million. I don't remember atm if she got any new campaigns or got paid for different things so yeah. 

But with the older or better sellers, I'm pretty sure VS will give them more (Adriana/Ale and probably Candice). I think the new angels probably signed for a couple hundred thousand. What could've been a single multi million 3 contract became a 1 year 6 figure contract.

More then likely. I'm pretty sure with 10 angels, I doubt all of them signed multi million. Too much money on a group that so far has most of them playing second fiddle or not at all in the case of Kate..

I wonder though, is being a singer/musician one of the requirements to date her?  

I remembered she said on twitter she's 5'8.. anyways, for her height she had such long legs. I think her inseam looked about as long as Adriana and Gisele's and there both taller.

I would love that. They can both hold their own with each other and both pleasant (when someone's not over doing it) on the catwalk. 

Imagine KK's could've possibly gotten Ale's fb  .. not a bad idea though. 

Also, as for the Bee comment. I don't really call her that as a nickname, I just say that because I'm too lazy to spell out her entire name. Sometimes I've forgotten how to spell it lol so I just started typing it that way. But that's me. 

^ I was referring to Ale when I mentioned the legs. Also, her = Ale btw in that sentence. 

Also, I doubt Taylor at the moment is smart enough to leave after 3-5 years but one can hope. Maybe she could ask for a contract like Doutzen if she wants to stay? More time for other projects and less time to VS but at the cost of less pay I assume?

KK was not the Ale to Gisele's Adriana  KK had opened the show and multiple segments (she even opened two segments in 2006) way before Ale ever did and she got two fantasy bras, one when she wasn't even an Angel. Alessandra didn't even open a segment until 2008 lol, and the reason why KK had a poor 2008 was because she had some health issues (which she didn't address at the time but she did later), not because VS was shitty to her, then she just decided to leave and be done with it, she came back in 2010 for one last time and got big ass wings and closed the last segment (because I refuse to count the shitshow that was pink in 2010) and she was in the weird Angel pictures before the show. 

 

Alessandra probably wishes VS had treated her half as good as they did to KK, girlfriend is has been Adriana's bb for 10+ years  I think VS definitely treated KK & Gisele as equals, the only area were Gisele edges Karolina is in show openings but that's because Gisele was more famous, other than that they both got the same FBs, both opened segments every year, both got kickass outfits, both had a lot of screentime, etc. I think Elsa & Taylor could be something similar because they do work as a pair and they both stand on their own and each one has her pros and cons.

 

I do hope they pull a Gisele&KK and leave after 3-5 years before VS sucks the life out of them tho.

KK & Gisele did seem like equals if you put it that way, but I always felt like VS treated Gisele a little bit even more special, ya know? Aside from openings, there pay if that's relevant or not to the topic at hand and in one of the old interview vids for the fashion show back in the early 2000's I swear when they interview Gisele it said like "Top Angel" under her name bubble or maybe I was seeing things. But I guess that tie in to the fact that Gisele was more famous. But still, my point I'm trying to make is that in each of these duos I've pointed out that VS has set up, they weren't entirely equal, and one always did have a tad edge and out shined the other.  

And thanks for clearing that up, but idk. I was mainly referring to 2007 though. You'd think with all the love KK got in the last 2 years previous and with Gisele gone they'd let KK open again idk just to even things up eh. I do admit Ale has to play second fiddle to Adriana that's a fact, but I guess it ain't her fault she doesn't have colored eyes and short legs  . And yes. Tbh, most VS angels should leave after 6 years max but unfortunately I'm almost 100% sure Taylor's here to say for a long while.

Aw, I actually loved Gisele and KK's chemistry. VS did treat KK like crap the moment Gisele left though.

I also loved how for 2005 & 06 they let Gisele open the show with KK opening the final segment. Also with Gisele getting a FB and then KK getting one the year after. KK also typically went first or after Gisele during walking too. I can only imagine that if Gisele stayed even for one more year, then KK would've been the one opening the 2007 show with Gisele going after and opening the last segment. 

That aside, I think I actually like Taylor Hill & Elsa Hosk as a better duo in theory then Saylor 

I haven't seen Taylor and Elsa's chemistry together but I don't know why them together as an angel duo just fits. Probably b/c they don't look like twin sisters. They compliment each other I guess. When they tried to push Saylor to the general public, I saw a lot comments saying that they couldn't tell them apart. Don't give me that bs that it's just blondes that people can't tell apart  . I guess that's why Candice/Bee and Dri/Ale worked because they looked different. And yep. I agree with you. Tbh, Taylor, Elsa and Jasmine should've been the only ones they hired now that we know what VS for sure is gonna be doing with the Angels. Jasmine = Token Black, Taylor = Grooming to be new head angel, Elsa = Temporary work "friend" that compliments and contrasts looks wise with their new head angel, Taylor, but probably won't get as much goodies as the head angel at the moment. Every other "old" angel is just there for cred and nostalgia. So, Elsa is the KK to Gisele, Ale to Dri and Bee to Candy. Pretty simple. Weird, in theory, the blonde is the unloved step sibling (you could say that Elsa's getting pushed now, but girl's old, probably why they're using her at the moment)

I'm just wondering, with the same old, same old "Too much angels" crap. We all know this is only because the current angels aren't actually bringing in enough star power. Do you guys think that VS would've had been different had Daria, Ana and Isabeli didn't reject their contracts and were signed on as opposed to say Iza and Selita (okay, Selita probably as the lone black girl, and KK was a shoe in especially since Gisele was still there_ and stayed for a while, not just the 3 year start off and then bye?

I just saw Toni Garrn walking beside Adriana at the Carmen Steffens show and I did not know that Toni was that tall. 

It ain't a big cover but could Jo be in a similar role to Ana BB or Oluchi were all those years? Maybe a big role in VS but never the contract?

Yes to Elsa as well. Something about her, her looks good and all but something just doesn't scream attention grabbing that VS hopes. 

Shhh about Martha. She's American, blonde, Not some goddess  body wise. Oh and she was also tall, skinny and awkward growing up. She's the girl next door type, and she doesn't have Tyra or Marisa boobs and a butt like Iggy or whatever Candy achieves through her spine breaking poses. She's perfect for the brand. Seriously though, she's basically a combo of Erin and Lindsay in some aspects. She has Erin's hollywood connections (links relationship or friendship wise) and Lindsay's forgettable self.   

Could care less about Vita though. Tbh, if Ed wants her because she's blonde and not that tall, then I'm not sure why he doesn't ask Sara to go blonde. 

i was honestly hoping for no swim special this year. But I guess that ain't happening. I guess seeing around 15 models read from a script poorly while ex Disney stars sing irreverent music in the background is enough. Oh yes, and the constant talking about how "hard" they work. I mean.. I get it's a job, but sometimes they act like they be saving lives. Also, I wonder if they'll shove it down our throats about how they're legit pro athletes, I mean gotta throw in their bodies in there somehow amirite?.  

Like some of her stuff but yeah, her contacts are looking freaky! Should go to the doctor or get some new contacts subscribed stat if she wants to fake this two different eye thing.

I know a lot of models do it, but for some reason Romee no hate but it's just something about when she does it that I can't place it on. But something about her doing it is just.. Idk. 

My only complaint with Romee is that almost every picture I've seen of her, her mouth is open. I mean I know sometimes it could be a habit or just natural for your mouth to be open but as a model and the fact that taking a damn good picture to help display and sell a product is part of your job, she could close it in some shots. I don't know, sometimes her mouth open combined with her gaze, just make me cringe. 

I've noticed that IMG has updated her stats and well, apparently her hips are now 39 inches and her waist is 26. Has she gained weight I assume (not a bad thing) I just don't keep up with her career though.
