I asked "Who said they do?" meaning "Who said they DO know who Josephine is?" See - I didn't "try" anything. You mentioned Josephine (don't know why) and I just said that nobody said she is a household name or whatever. Who said they do? There was a discussion on HF vs commercial models. Not about race. Nor about Jasmine vs Josephine. And when someone says "household name" it doesn't apply to specific person's household (I believe everyone here knows who both Jasmine and Josephine are; but I doubt their entire household does) - it's just an expression that marks a model recognizability among wider public.
I don't think any of those know who Jasmine Tookes is either. But yeah, "commercial" models are more recognizible among general public.
You answered your own question. But yeah, some of VS girls combine both HF and commercial (Grace, Stella, even Taylor and Candice) while others go only commercial. Some of them (Taylor, Sara, Josephine, ...) also have additional long-term commercial lucrative contracts (beauty, jewlery, ...). I don't follow Jasmine that closely so I don't know if she has other (commercial) contracts other than VS.

Well, they are already not really relevant. Too many of them and VS still using many non-angels in their campaigns. Not even people on here (fans) can name all of the angels. I bet their contracts are not very lucrative as well. Without the show the angel status is even more losing its significance.
