  4. Leo is looking like a total boss in those pics Thanks a lot @bnkenobi
  5. More via Lainey (Leo looks so fine, holy moly)
  6. I def wouldn't be that chilled with Brad Pitt next to me, omg...
  7. Leo playing beach volleyball one more time (on Sunday)...
  8. I suppose this is a good thing... I don't get why people always have to make early conclusions without knowing facts (in this case the script). Never thought Leo would agree to do this movie if Tarantinos intentions wouldn't be honorable, so no surprise from my side.
  9. It's a bit funny because normally Tarantino isn't my cup of coffee... Not.At.All. BUT - I really liked "Inglourious Basterds", "Django Unchained" and "The Hateful Eight" (Tarantino fans would probably say girl you have no clue... maybe they're right ). He's a great story teller, the dialogues in those movies are outstanding, like you guys mentioned before... Calvin Candies monologue including the skull plus the infamous broken glass scene and how Leo handled it was mind blowing (I will never understand how the oscar jury choosed Waltz for doing the same thing over and over again over Leos fresh, never seen before from him perfomance but anyway)... I hope Tarantino will bring him once again out of his comfort zone. As scary Candie was he was bloody funny too. It's a juggling act to create such a character (for both writer and actor). So hopefully Leo will show his silly, dorky, buddy side in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood alongside Pitt... Brad Pitt - uh I have to say I love him (not as much as Leo but still) I'm not into fan rivals (never was) because why should I when I can love both? Finally two of my favorites are working together. Like I said before I hope their buddy bromance will be as funny and dorky and sh!tty like it can be while they blow the dialogs around each other. Pitt can be hilarious (Burn After Reading), Leo can be hilarious (The Wolf of Wall Street). So I have really high expectations in those two. Like I have from the whole cast. I mean it's outstanding. Robbie, Pacino, Olyphant, Fanning -- I'm so ready for this, my oh my. It's more like how can we not have high expectations? I have little troubles to imagine how Tarantino wants to tell this story... the title says Once upon a time what sounds like... a fairytale... A bloody fairytale? It would be kinda ironic if this movie about a brutal murder will be his first movie without (exaggerated) violence... on the other hand he did exactly the same with Basterds and Django and in my eyes he handled it well -- the balance between bloody fantasy, scary truth and a brilliant perfectly timed sense of humor where the audience laughed but never about the victims (to me that's the great talent of Tarantino and therefore I have trust he will tell this story with the necessary respect). Believe it or not but I never saw Pulp Fiction. So I have not really a clue when Tarantino said OUATIH will be the closest to this one. I only know it's some crazy, brilliant sh!t and almost everyone thinks Pulp Fiction is Tarantinos best (so far). Now Leo said the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood script is even better than Pulp Fiction. And here we are again at the high expectations In short: I can't fuck!ng wait!!!
  10. He truly was at his fittest point ever in "The Departed" and "Blood Diamond". But I always liked the fact that he doesn't need a typical hollywood body to have success and even with his more chubby "dad bod" he's making everyone crazy. For me that's his power too. He's just very very special and I love that Love this interview. Like ox said his japan interviews are always hilarious. Would love if he would show the world more often his funny side. A friend of mine (don't know her that long) was from the very beginning I can't stand Leo DiCaprio until I showed her some interviews via youtube and she said I didn't know he's so cute and funny... he's still not really her type but now she sees him with other eyes
  11. Beside from this he probably turned down hundred (if not more) of roles because he isn't capable to play all of them But to read stupid comments like he's homophobic or afraid to come out as gay personally (yeah no opposition here ) still drives me crazy. I was more wondering why he turned down the role because it's not only a great, moving, heartbreaking movie but it addresses such an important topic. At this time even more like today... it's like Ang Lee made gay love stories socially acceptable in Hollywood - a real milestone. Sounds exactly like a challenge Leo would love to accept plus he once said in an interview Ang Lee is on his bucket list for directors he wants to work with one day (I know at this point Gus Van Sant was attached to the project). But of course it's impossible to play all interesting, important roles and I love The Departed and his character Billy Costigan is one of my faves of all time so absolutely no regrets here
  12. Totally agree with you in this point... I will never forget when I was in cinema to see "The Revenant" how those young girls behind me was giggling when he made his first appearance in the movie... dirty, long locks all over his face, bearded hardly to recognize and still they were melting like we would watch "Titanic". One of the best moments ever Power of Leo indeed.
  13. Interesting... didn't expect Leo turning down such a role I have to say (Total Eclipse, J. Edgar). But yeah Heath and Jake were pure gold in this movie so everything's fine Thanks for sharing new release date... so now they will compete against "The Lion King"? Not sure about this decision I have to say. On the other hand I thought the same about "The Revenant" and "Star Wars" and Leo handled it well at the box office
  14. She did a new netflix movie with Forest Whitaker and Theo James... first Leo then Theo... lucky girl
