  1. Got my own copy of the epd film october issue ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ and it says -pay attention it's important- the marriage between Ernest and Mollie was "erotically stimulating". I can't LOL ๐Ÿ˜„ This alone (plus the cover) is worth the 7 euros I paid for a fuck!ng magazine. Why is everything so expensive these days??? But since it's Leo month he's welcome to have all my money (I'm such a fan girl when it comes to Leo )

  6. Thx for the little review I'm not a Nolan fan at all this is why I didn't watch the movie in cinema. I'll probably wait until it's free to stream. Yay another edition of Titanic for me, but first time in 4k It's been a long way from VHS to 4k but I loved every moment of this journey. This movie made me love not only Leo but the movie expierence in general!!
  7. Love this. I know it's a stretch but Ernest and Mollie are kinda star crossed lovers just like R&J!?
  8. Regarding KOTFM. I won't spoiler anything. ๐ŸคโœŒ๏ธ Martin Scorsese Says His Next Film is โ€˜The Wagerโ€™ Has anyone here seen Oppenheimer? Is it really that good? Oscars: Nolanโ€™s โ€˜Oppenheimerโ€™ is Our Best Picture Frontrunner With all of the major fall fests having wrapped up their editions, hereโ€™s a portrait of whatโ€™s shaping up to be a very interesting Best Picture race at the Oscars. Here are my BP predictions as of 10.15.23: โ€œOppenheimerโ€ โ€œKillers of the Flower Moonโ€ โ€œPoor Thingsโ€ โ€œBarbieโ€ โ€œThe Holdoversโ€ โ€œPast Livesโ€ โ€œMaestroโ€ โ€œAnatomy of A Fallโ€ โ€œAmerican Fictionโ€ โ€œAcross the Spider-Verseโ€ Firstly, I should mention the EW article, published this morning, which predicted that Christopher Nolanโ€™s โ€œOppenheimerโ€ might break the record for most Oscar nominations for a single film, with 15. The problem is that theyโ€™re predicting a nomination in the supporting categories for Matt Damon and Florence Pugh โ€” which are both long shots. My current total has โ€œOppenheimerโ€ getting 13 noms in Picture, Director, Screenplay, Actor, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Cinematography, Makeup, Score, Costume, Editing, Art Direction and Sound Mixing. โ€œOppenheimerโ€ was a box office hit, with almost $940 million worldwide, and a critical hit, currently sitting at 90 on Metacritic. I still see some people on the fence about the film; it has its detractors, but I donโ€™t think there will be a large enough dissent to prevent it from winning the top prize. Regardless, nothing can diminish my belief that โ€œOppenheimerโ€ is the current frontrunner to win Best Picture, and that Nolan might very well win his first Best Director statuette. People love this movie. It was a cultural phenomenon thanks to โ€˜Barbenheimerโ€™ and the topic of nuclear energy is as relevant as ever. I mean, what other film could win? I can only see two other titles being legitimate rivals: Martin Scorseseโ€™s โ€œKillers of the Flower Moonโ€ and Yorgos Lanthimosโ€™ โ€œPoor Things.โ€ โ€œPoor Thingsโ€ crashed the race with an astounding showing at Venice, winning the Golden Lion and becoming the most critically acclaimed film of the fall fests. Lanthimosโ€™ film continued its stellar festival performance at NYFF and BFI London. The filmโ€™s star, Emma Stone, is also a frontrunner to win Best Actress. The question remains whether the filmโ€™s over-the-top theatrics will turn some voters off, not to mention the risquรฉ material and in-your-face sex scenes. At least critics will be pushing the film, and Searchlight is also hoping for a large audience to show up come opening day. Scorseseโ€™s โ€œKillers of the Flower Moonโ€ is being released this Friday. The latest reviews are just as great as the raves it received at Cannes this past May. Itโ€™s projected to earn around $25 million this coming weekend, but it could end up making more. The lengthy โ€˜Killersโ€™ runtime, 3.5 hours, seems to continuously be coming up in conversations. If it were to win Best Picture then it would become the longest one to do so in the last 20 years. However, what counts is that itโ€™s a great film, with a staggering vision, that, despite its flaws, leaves an indelible mark on the viewer. Still left to be screened are next monthโ€™s Ridley Scott-directed โ€œNapoleonโ€ and Blitz Bazawuleโ€™s โ€œThe Color Purple,โ€ which comes out in December. Unless one of these titles two makes a dent in the Oscar race, then we most likely are going to have a three-way race for Picture and Director between Nolan, Scorsese and Lanthimos.
  9. Can't believe we make it to the week KOTFM is starting... after so many years of waiting

  11. Sounds promising... if someone is a sucker for numbers. But looking at the state of hollywood (and cinema) a success of KOTFM is very much needed. So let's rock it Martin Scorsese Set to Break New Record With Killers of the Flower Moon Opening Martin Scorsese's Western drama, Killers of the Flower Moon, looks on course to shatter a new opening weekend record held by The Departed. Killers of the Flower Moon is on course to shoot down a new record for Martin Scorsese during its opening weekend as the film will be showing in an unprecedented number of theaters for the director. Per The Numbers, Killers of the Flower Moon will open on 3,500 screens across domestic cinemas, a new all-time high for a Scorsese movie. The previous record for screenings of a Scorsese flick during its premiere weekend was during the debut of The Departed in 2006, which was shown on 3,017 screens at the time. With Killers of the Flower Moon securing so many screens across North American theaters during its debut weekend, the news could bode well for the Western's box-office prospects. Early projections had Killers of the Flower Moon making around $24 million domestically during its opening weekend as Apple Studios and Paramount Pictures hope for significant returns on the $200 million spent to make the upcoming blockbuster. Scorsese's last feature-length title, 2019's The Irishman, only earned $8 million at the box office despite its widespread critical acclaim as it received a limited theatrical release before streaming on Netflix. Killers of the Flower Moon came close to breaking another record as it fell just shy of setting a new mark for the longest movie Scorsese has ever made. Clocking in at 3 hours and 26 minutes, the movie is three minutes short of The Irishman (3 hours and 29 minutes) for the runtime record. Scorsese recently hit back at criticism about Killers of the Flower Moon's length, insisting detractors must give the actors and cinema as a whole the respect they deserve. Source

  16. Nothing but bad news on the other side Studios Declare SAG-AFTRA Talks โ€œSuspendedโ€ (...) So, weโ€™re now looking at this strike prolonging well into next year. This also means no actors campaigning, shilling, for votes during awards season. Maybe their work will actually do the talking this time around. The 2024 release calendar is also now very much in doubt. Hey, at least weโ€™ll be focusing more on foreign and indie films next year.
  17. KOTFM climbing the RT ladder now at 98% Not sure if this counts as character poster
  18. Maybe he forgot it lol
