Wow. I haven't seen much from her since the events last year where she looked drugged out, and she is looking great now. My first thought without knowing about her history and transformation was "Oh, they're having an addict speak about mental health", but I just read a New York Post article about how she has gotten clean and seems to be doing really well for herself which is great to see.

Nothing wrong with documenting the process...maybe it's her way of grieving and documenting on social media moments with a furry companion is no different than if you make posts with a significant other or whatever. But I do agree that some people probably hold on to loved ones and pets for too long...I can't tell if that is the case here, but if your pet has to be on a feeding tube that's probably not a great quality of life.

She is amazing, I can't get enough of her updates. Thank you to everyone who is sharing her stuff and updating the thread so diligently. I hope she will also do more shoots with Anthropologie!

I do think there is some truth to this, if she was busy modeling during her prime years after VS she could have been an even more successful model rather than getting caught up with the unexpected downfall of VS. Another factor I think you may be completely overlooking is her motherhood and relationship, which now that she is single she is getting back into modeling, likely trying to chase that same success and recognition she had early in her career. Anything about why she wasn’t more successful is mostly speculative. She also should start doing more of these actual studio photo shoots and runway appearances again rather than her low quality Instagram modeling for her swimsuit brand if she cares about being more successful. Then again if it wasn’t for her VS success, she wouldn’t have been able to make a profitable swimsuit brand where she overcharges based on name recognition of being a famous model (from what I can tell this is the brand, could be off I didn’t do too much research honestly)

Victoria’s Secret didn’t invent sexualization of catalog models, it popularized it due to there already OBVIOUSLY (as evidenced by the success of VS) being a massive demand for this. It’s not a coincidence that someone posing in scantily clad wear is sexualized. If Nicola is comfortable with where she is in her career than good for her more power to her. I admire the fact that she would take a stand for something she doesn’t want to do even if it pays more. But not wanting attention from your shoots seems counter intuitive. It suggests to me that she is in the wrong career field because that is what modeling is about. Unless you honestly believe that these models are just so passionate about all these lingerie or whatever make-up etc. products they are selling. To clarify when I talk about these models not wanting attention I’m speaking about their wanting their pages on here deleted or not appreciating online publicity, I’m not talking about them refraining from doing more sexual/risqué shoots

I was gonna say yes, they were always small, yes VS made them look bigger, but also they were probably bigger during and after pregnancy…that said I think she has always looked amazing

It’s a California thing currently for sure (masking) but I wouldn’t consider it madness. I am in southeastern US and I can’t remember the last time I saw someone masked up. The real madness is those who continue to deny the reality, existence, and/or danger of COVID. But with that said wearing in mask in the outdoors seems a little unnecessary to me. My guess is her mask wearing is a combination of the factors you already mentioned. I enjoy browsing this site for appearance photos, but these candid paparazzi shots are an invasion of these celebrities privacy so I don’t think it’s really fair to judge someone based on them. They are usually not even flattering so I don’t get why they get posted on here all the time.

At first when she started getting a lot of attention on here I didn’t really understand , but now I get it, and I think about when I somehow didn’t find her insanely hot. I’m not sure if it’s because she looked so young or because I’m crazy, but damn she is insanely hot.
