Paul Farrell π· for 125 Magazine March 2010
The 125 Magazine 'Old Glory' spread, shot by Paul Farrell for 125 Magazine's 'America' issue, celebrates a country known for its fanatical patriotism. Focusing on the instantly recognizable stars-and-stripes motif and other American greats, including Andy Warhol and Jackson Pollock, 'Old Glory' encapsulates the gloss and glamor of the original American dream. The Star-Spangled Banner inspires a series of creative beauty looks, sprayed onto torsos, applied painstakingly to lips and adorning exaggerated eyelashes.
The Spring/Summer 2010 βAmericaβ issue of 125 Magazine brings together the red, white and blue in an exciting and stimulating new way. It features models in nothing but patriotic body paint and includes the nude bodies of Pete Bolton, Betty Adewole, Polly Brindle, Anais Van Praet, Lewis Collins, and Ramona Chmura
