How sweet of you, Pink! Thanx so much! I copied them but when my player opened up, I had sound and no picture. What am I doing wrong? <_< I'm hitting the town right now so I'll have to try tomorrow.

She's so stunning! So, glad to see they picked her for this with Adriana. Perfect representatives! (Y)

Thanx, michelabella. I absolutely agree with everything you say. She's different from lots of girls in those ways you mentioned. If you compare the SI shots with the ones I posted above at the party, see how versatile her look is? She's a flat out cutie pie! And, don't her eyes just pop out at you and draw you right in??

What a great job, dt! Thanx so much! There is not a single bad shot there and I honestly think I am being unbiased. I thought about it and I'm sure I am
  6. Thank so much to you, Joe. You handled that very diplomatically. I really, really appreciate how you did handle it.

Swimsuit model Tori Praver attends the launch of Sports Illustrated's 2009 Swimsuit Issue at Prana on February 11, 2009 in New York City. I love seeing her in white. She is normally in black and she looks so dang good!

I might be able to make some from the videos online, but I don't have a way to make them from the TV show (they're doing one this year aren't they?). It'll likely be tomorrow before I could do the online ones, so if you'd like to post some Pinky, that'd be great! And thank you for offering! Anything you can do to help will be marvelous! Thanx ahead of time!

That would be great! Thanx, Pinky. Also, does everyone know that her swimwear line is featured in this year's SI issue? Yep, it is Her swimwear line website is still under construction. I will have to get back to you on the website. I forgot the name.

This article was written by Andy Gray, from Fan Nation (today's column FOR THE RECORD) " If you're a guy who appreciates half-naked girls in bikinis, today is your Super Bowl. That's right; it's the release of Sports Illustrated's 2009 Swimsuit Issue. Sure, the internet has become a bastion of attractive women in next-to-no clothing, but the Swimsuit issue isn't just your run of the mill hot chicks. It's the cream of the crop. The Rolls Royce of ridiculously good-looking chicks that no normal person such as you or I could ever hope to talk to, much less date. And that leaves only one thing -- to rank them. So here are my top five all-time favorite SI Swimsuit models. 1. Christie Brinkley: Maybe it's because I love blondes. Or maybe it's that cheesy video for Uptown Girl. Either way, Brinkley is is at the top of my SI swimsuit mountain. 2. Kathy Ireland: If you're like me, you spent way too much of your childhood staring at this cover. Frankly, I was close to giving her the top spot, but we went with Brinkley since Vacation is a much better movie than Necessary Roughness. 3. Elle MacPhereson: The Bod. Enough said. 4. Tori Praver: The swimsuit has been a tradition at SI since 1964, and in that time, hundreds of models and thousands of pics have been unleashed on the world, but this picture remains my all-time favorite. 5. Irina Shayk: Much like Dustin Pedroia, Shayk burst onto the scene in 2007 and has been producing solidly ever since. Never heard of her? Look at this picture or this one or this one and you'll see my point. Those are my five favorites. Who is on your list?" That's pretty good company to keep, I'd say. The picture he was referring to of Tori's is this one:
  16. Oh, yes! A Gisele/Adri combo would have been amazing! And, Strawberry Mac, pulling at your bottoms, or hooking the thumb thing is a perfectly natural thing to do when you are with a special someone. Every does that and more! Otherwise, it just looks like posing and even if girls ARE posing, posing should seem more natural. Again, Gisele knows how to do that and so do some of the girls in the mag but they don't do it. I'm sure you don't march around town doing that. And, there is nothing wrong with being a tease. (Y) That's part of what we girls do! It's part of the whole plan
  17. I have to agree that this year's mag is not a really big standout. As far as Bar's cover, I knew she would get it and I'm happy for her. I sincerely am. (Y) I just don't understand what is so special about that particular shot. She has several shots that would've been better, IMHO. She's a really pretty girl. To me, the spider web suit would have been different and catchy. Or, doing something with a prop....maybe even the material she worked with in a couple of shots. I am really sooooo over models doing the "hooking their thumbs" in their clothes thing, whether it is a dress or a swimsuit. There's not a thing that is remotely natural about that. Who walks around like that? The other thing is that "real" boobs on a girl who is fairly young, do NOT come way out on the sides and they sure don't stay the same size as a girl loses weight. You lose weight all over. It's virtually against nature. The boobs have to get smaller, too. They only come out on the sides instead of straight ahead when you get older or have implants. It's as simple as that. Now, if a girl wants implants, that's fine with me, doesn't impact me at all. But, for Pete's sake, don't pretend like they are "real". Okay, now that is all that I have negative to say. If you have implants, just say so and stop the silly pretense. They are not real, period. So what? Who cares? Just admit it. Also, certain tops are better on girls than the triangle. I looked at everyone's videos and I think the videos are all much better than the stills in most cases. They give more into the insight of each girl's personalities except for those girls who are rookies and really don't know what to do. I loved most of the videos. Maybe I'm being prejudiced (and I'm trying not to be) but I thought Tori's videos were amazing in both showing her body, amazing legs and her beautiful face and especially her eyes and hair. I think in the videos that she was incredible. I know of at least one person who will go bananas with me saying that but that's okay. In the end, I think the issue is better than the last two years but still isn't like "the good ol' days". I just WISH for the "good ol' days". I honestly would have loved it if Gisele had done the cover. She would never have done a ho-hum shot. I'd just like opinions on something. Is it the photographers or the stylists who are making it mundane? Some of the girls aren't right for the mag or not ready for it....too young. But, most of them are beautiful girls. What's wrong?

No, the cover went to BAR. That was announced last nite on Letterman. She is supposed to appear in person on Wed. on Letterman. Go to the S.I. site and see her pictures and especially her videos. There are two of them. Honestly and not being biased, I can say she HAD some shots worthy of the cover. You can really see it on the videos. The camera really, really, REALLY loves her.

I love that theory! She is totally too good for V.S. and will go on to do amazing things because she CAN! YAY! I also like the fact that she looks so amazing without being half naked on the red carpet......proves that sublety is the best way to go! Sophistication!
  25. It looks like that really is the cover. I know where that sign is and the background matches soooooo, all I can say is that this is a gorgeous suit, really gorgeous! I'm surprised they didn't use the spiderweb one but still, I'm sooooo happy for BAR!!! The pose is very familiar but oh, well. Bar always has a wonderful look. That's the great part!
