As is the case with everything else in today's society it all comes down to money. VS does see how aligning themselves with losers like Hadid and Jenner could help them financially, selling their soul to promote them and continuing to dumb down society and send a message it's ok to promote fame and fortune for accomplishing nothing but being born. It's just sad to see, that's all. Sad to see them sell that message to society and sad to see them turn on their own models who worked hard to get to their level while these 2 (and likely more to come in the future) did nothing to earn their spot.

Gigi is getting two outfits too. I think you can freak out now, lol. Whoever made that decision should be fired. Essentially placing Gigi "I'm only famous cause my dad is rich and paid for my fame" Hadid and Candice on the same level is so disgusting it's vomit-inducing. Gigi and Kendall's only participation in this show should be sitting in the audience clapping for all angels... all far superior to them... especially Candice.

I really hate the fact that VS is letting awful woman made famous for no reason other than who their parents are and having lots of money like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid walk in this... their inclusion is the reason Candice only gets 2 outfits this year... Their inclusion takes away from what it means to be an "angel." Terrible decision-making by Victoria's Secret. They should be ashamed.

This thread is really an amazing place. If anyone is negative about candice (which they shouldn't be) they are (rightfully?) ridiculed immensely and treated like a piece of trash. But on the flip side, if you're overly-complimentary and show immense support for her then you're deemed to be a jerk to other models and are also ridiculed. I've never quite seen anything like it. Look, I only check this particular topic/thread because the only VS model I care about is Candice and I'm never "mean" to other models. But I do overly support Candice as opposed to other models. In this thread, i (and others) should be allowed to do that. If we were to go in the thread of another model and complain about them, as a way of showing support for Candice, then I would understand the negative reactions.

Definitely not enough Candice. I never understand commercials or videos from VS where she's featured on such a limited basis. She's the Michael Jordan of VS right now, no brand is better for featuring him less so why does VS do it with her?

It's a forum and people are entitled to their opinions. Ignore the posts, they don't impact your life whatsoever. I don't see anyone saying heinous things. Has anyone called Lily "ugly" or some other really negative term? I haven't seen that. They are just disappointed with the choice because everyone has a different opinion and a forum is meant for sharing their opinions.

Pretty disappointed they went with Lily, and not Candice. But I would be upset with anyone if not Candice, really. Lily does nothing for me, personally. Oh well.

For such a big event, in which there will be so much media, I can't see the company letting her risk missing it by flying in the day of. Unless she flies in tonight, which I suppose is still possible as LAX would not be as busy as Sunday night gets later and she'd gain 3 hours. So, while I wouldn't rule out all hope. I'd say it's slowly fading.

I am somewhat new here, only a few months in.... just out of curiosity, how would you divide it up if it were a sub forum? One thread for news, another for photos only, another for videos only, etc.? I, for one, don't necessarily mind how quick this thread moves. It's kind of fun. People share interesting things, lots of great content consistently gets posted and the conversation you can quickly decide how interesting it all is to you and skim it or read it intently. On most days, it only moves 1-2 pages. Though I'll apologize for moving the thread along rapidly over the last couple of days.

Yes, that is the entire conversation over the last 2-3 pages... that they are revealing it Monday. was it really that difficult to follow along? You don't have to be rude about it! Sorry... I know the bra would be revealed. It was said that the angel wearing it will be there. Among others to keep us guessing. (from what I had gathered) Someone also stated that they seem to not be making a big of a deal out of it as they have in the past.. So I wasn't sure. Sheesh! Sorry. My bad on that. So, you are thinking that there will be 3 or 4 models present at the event to keep people guessing and that it's possible Candice is in attendance but doesn't get chosen... which I suppose would mean she also wouldn't sign and meet fans, either? I was under the impression only the model being named the chosen one would be there...

Just updating things as I look for more clues... watching tv here in LA and the local NBC just ran a commercial for their daytime show on Monday and advertised Lily Aldridge being on. While still not a 100% guarantee, I'm thinking they'd be having her on to discuss being chosen to wear the fantasy bra.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you think Candice doesn't have a chance? I trust you know more about the selection process than I do... i would think the only 2 completely eliminated would be the 2 who wore it last year... Alessandra and Lima... I suppose we can eliminate all the rookies or young angels as well... but why would Candice have no chance? Simply because she's already done it?

That's really the thing and I am sorry to everyone for making the "living" connection with Lily in the wee hours of the morning... they are wealthy and famous models so they probably have a few "homes"... esp. with wealthy husbands/boyfriends... So while I still think it makes sense to do it close to where the model lives for several reasons that doesn't narrow it down much. I'd still wager on Lily or Behati. Barring a sign of Candice arriving to LA in the next 48 hours, I doubt it's her. The model will need to be here by late Sunday night cause they'd never risk a flight issue Monday morning/afternoon that puts them here late or forces a cancellation.

Tell your source that Kloss is no longer with VS. ok well Kloss is flying into LAX for some reason this weekend... he obviously didn't know she cut ties with VS... and neither did I.... truth be told, I don't pay much attention to VS models besides Candice...

Doesn't Lily live in Nashville? Maybe she lives both. I know she was born and raised in Santa Monica and I've seen interviews where she has mentioned living "Around where she grew up"... considering her fame and wealth, maybe she lives in malibu/santa monica area and nashville? Anyways, my "paparazzi source" says the only VS model scheduled to fly in this weekend is Kloss... so maybe it's her or her and Lily?

So I am 99% sure it's going to be Lily Aldridge. She's from Santa Monica and I believe still lives there or very close to there. If they want to keep it a big secret then it makes sense. This way no model flies in and ruins the surprise. All Lily has to do is drive over from her home. It would explain why they chose such a random location like Santa Monica. I think if it was Candice it would be at a store in New York. Just my 2 cents.

I'd imagine it has to be at least 2 weeks so they can schedule appropriately. I used to work at a sports memorabilia store in Chicago and when we had famous athletes in, it was all hands on deck because you still had to properly staff the rest of the store for an increased flurry of customers, plus you had to staff for the athlete (or in this case angel)... meaning people as security, people to monitor the line, people around the person, helping them sign, take photos, etc. Unless Victoria's Secret corporate sends a group with the model to run security and aid in the meet and greet process.

Yeah, I live 3 miles from the store but I also work at 4pm local time and the event or "meet the model" portion is supposed to be from 3-4 so if i go I need to be a bit late for work. So, ideally, I'd only risk being late for my job if it's Candice because she my personal favorite and, IMHO, best VS model in history. If it's any of the others, while also being beautiful woman, I wouldn't go and risk something like my job for it.
