I think people don’t give 2008 enough credit. I really think it’s the most glamourous show so far. And I miss the OTT makeup the girls had on that year. They looked like goddesses. The music was perfect, the mood was right and it all looked and felt so extravagant. For the life of me, I can’t remember anything about the 2017 show 😐

Idk I’m more shocked about her not having a British and French Vogue covers. Like how? I’m starting to believe Adriana really doesn’t care? As in she sees modeling in a very black and white perspective, it’s a business. These covers, yes they add to your prestige and give your portfolio some weight but you don’t get paid for them (or you get paid a ridiculously low amount). So I think Adriana would of course jump on the opportunity to have covers like that but I don’t think she’d be bothered to make calls or press her agent to get her those kinda gigs. I really think she’s good with getting her money jobs and doing some fashion work semi regularly

She’s not that big tho. Bigger artists did the show and ratings still weren’t pretty

Can’t remember the last time she posted about work so generously. And I hope this is different from the business mogul moves she’s been talking about (unless it’s her own line for Puma) I’ve been waiting for her to venture into business for years. Also, was I the only one who heard about those US Vogue cover rumors? 😂😂

I think girls like Karlie, who are too big for VS, only do the show because of the buzz. I think they’re over they brand but still love the whole idea of the show; the attention, spotlight and press. Tbh if i were a model and stopped working for them, I’d feel a heavy sense of nostalgia and wanting to go back whenever it’s that time of year

Idk why they insist on calling her an actress. She doesn’t need the validation, she’s famous for modeling and her net worth is healthier than most of the actresses in Hollywood

I really do consider her one of the most beautiful models of all time. I see models that have similar features to her like, Irina and Sara but Adriana really comes off as a very classic and timeless beauty. There’s something very ‘whole’ about her look. Which is why it really gets to me when I see her Instagram being very poorly managed. I mean, Instagram is the quickest way people see you so I wish she’d start posting her bomb work pictures more. Not everyone is on websites like BZ to know when new work is released. But regardless, she still has an amazing career and not many models her age can say that.

Wow a friend very recently told me Adriana reminds her so much of a young Sophia Loren. She’s really blessed with looks.

That’s just a bad photo of Yasmin. She’s so beautiful otherwise and also great for runway. And I really think Lais is one of the most gorgeous angels they’ve ever worked with. She’s really beautiful in the face and has a killer body, yes her torso looks exaggerated but she pulls it off because she’s super tall. She also doesn’t have a larger than life personality but I really dig her mellow persona. She’s obviously doing something right that’s why she’s still with them. I don’t think they have an angel that can sell a bra better than her. Also, she always looks so statuesque standing next to the others.

I hope she got paid for that product placement.

And Irina is actually really good on the runway. So idk maybe she was horrible at first then became better? I have no other explanation because she’s 532355533 times better than most of their angels. It doesn’t matter tho, VS is slowly becoming an afterthought in the industry... girls like Imaan wouldn’t be caught dead signing a VS angel contract.

Yes the dress reminded me of Elsa’s too but she looked so good. Adriana needs to get into movies because she really really has that old Hollywood glam to her. It’s amazing really how great she looks. My friend who doesn’t even like her keeps staring at her recent pics because she can’t believe she’s in her late 30s ? Now let’s hope she starts booking some projects.

I don’t think you understand the industry. Adriana has been an active working model for basically two decades. She has a lot of connections. If she wanted to go she’d have been there. Have you seen the guest list? Some of the attendees haven’t booked a job in 84 yrs If anything, her not attending is very consistent with her not doing much these days.
