Just a fun fact about wings... A friend of mine once said a standard VS wings could weigh up to about 10 pounds. On a 110 pounds model, even a 10 pounds wings can feel like it weighs 25 pounds. Honestly though, I'm not surprise Jo had issues wearing those Porcelain wings. They look like they were easily 25 pounds - 30 pounds. And if you follow the models' insta story, you'll notice they don't do a lot of back training. Just enough that it helps them maintain postures. Most of them train glutes, abs and their core. It's like putting a bag of books on to a child who can barely carry them. Not surprising again, the heaviest wings usually come from Killer/Armando. Killer uses a lot of wire frames for her wings, Armando puts a lot of jewellery on to his. Pretty sure most Porcelain wings were designed by Serkan, but the one Jo worn might have had its base frame made by Killer. -

Seeing this post changes my mind about simple wings. The amount of details that goes in to the chiffon wings has me feeling excited. I'm really hoping everything looks good in motion. @Clauds also, just checking, do you need non-VS photos of the models we nominate for the "Should Have Been Angel" competition? I'm at work lately with tons of oncalls so I haven't been sending those pictures over.

@PinkCouture there are quite a number of nice Sui UHQ photos that surfaced recently on GettyImages. Can I trouble you to help me get them? If it involves cash, then it's alright. But if you can get them just by saving image, then would you mind helping? I just want the photos of Sui smiling on the runways on the first page of photos.

Damn you @Clauds what happened to buying the jackets together Now I'm the only one who bought it. @aryirigoyen not sure if it helps, but try checking ebay/taobao for the sizes that you're looking for or inquire VS' online store if they plan on restocking. Those jackets went out really really fast. On Taobao, L sizes were sold out in 12 hours and on the international VS store, S sizes were gone within 9 hours. @PinkCouture tagged me no longer than 7 hours so I'm sure its a hot item. SIde note, I also checked on mine last night and found out the L sized jackets were sold out. Prompted me really quickly to seek confirmation from the customer service if my order went through cause VS deducted 600 bucks from my account upon purchase. Found out I managed to get my jackets in time, one of the last few stocks. Learnt my lesson from the taobao incident, but you might have luck with ebay! @GlitterAndWings shade is real I was so dumb to believe her.

Apparently, some people say her outfit was inspired by Diana, the moon Goddess. And in making it an outfit about the moon, it sort of links back to the Chinese Moon Goddess Chang'e who is known for her grace and elegance, which is what Sui is known for on stage. That was why she got that outfit and the wings.

I'm not sure if she was trying to reference anything from the Asian culture, it does feel like she was trying to do this... But probably decided that it looks stupid and changed it to an open arm gesture. Or probably it's just a moment of struggling with her cape and fingers so the whole thing looked odd af.
