All those girls are known in media for being part of Taylor's group. So the only really famous model in the video is Cara. And then you have a legit stars like Selena, Hayley Williams, Jessica Alba, Marishka Hargitay and Ellen Pompeo. So no, video was not a "smashing success" because of the models. Taylor Swift has a second most sold album of this decade (after 21 by Adele), she needs zero exposure from models on her sold out tour.
