I saw some of Joan's catalogue work for them on tumblr and maybe it was the make up but she looked really horrible in them. I love her and I agree that she has become a powerhouse, her line of work recently is nothing short of exquisite, from Beyoncé music videos to US Elle and Vogue. I think VS has standards than we give it credit for. Making someone like Karle an angel is one think but Cara would not make a convincing Angel. I think they are going to take advantage of her status and put her in the show every year but I really don't think they will make her an angel. They passed on Kate Upton and she was already big when they did.

I like how she just blends in everywhere she goes. Like in the Dubai pictures, she looks like an emiratee. When she was in London she looked like a brunette Caucasian. She has this global appeal.

I don't think the media is against her. It's nothing personal. It's all about the story with them.

I just think she needs to focus more on her work and less on this silly celebrity status. She has lost pratically all of her contracts in 2013. I hope she gets even better contracts and focus on keeping them. One thing her team has done right is they got her name out there, the way they went about it is another topic. Her team cannot force her to do anything she doesn't want to. They are all in this together to get the public's attention. I just miss her prior 2009 self. I wish she took a second and look at all the huge models like Gisele, Kate Moss, Adriana Lima these women rely more on their body of work than attention. Another model following the footsteps of these models is Upton. I just hope Miranda channels back the girl everyone loved in 2014.

Another thing, I don't feel like this year's was concert-y at all. It was 80% all about the models. Even Lais, Barbara and Cara got segments. And the show was Behati and Adriana overload. Safe for the last segment (too much Taylor) I think they showcased the models more than enough/expected.

Does Barbara F do catalog for VS? I think she has really striking features. Anyone know the brand she did her "major cosmetic campaign" for?

And remember that big bump "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." got two weeks ago when "NCIS" was away? It didn't last long. With "NCIS" back on the schedule, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." plummeted to a series low on Tuesday. Having "S.H.I.E.L.D." back did, however, help give "The Goldbergs" and "Trophy Wife" a slight boost after last week's declines. NBC's "Biggest Loser" and "The Voice" also dropped with "NCIS" and "NCIS: Los Angeles" back, but "Chicago Fire" benefited from the lack of "CSI" and gained overall viewers. Finally, The CW discovered that the only thing that draws a smaller audience than a new "IHeart Radio" special is a repeat of a previously low-rated special. On to the numbers... Among adults 18-49, CBS averaged a 2.8 rating for Tuesday night, topping the 2.4 rating for NBC in the key demographic. ABC and FOX both did a 1.4 key demo rating, while The CW had a 0.2 key demo rating for the night. What time will the show be aired today? I think it was really improved this year. I'm dumbfounded by how the music meshed with all the segments. It actually worked.The angels also had so mush screen time as it should be. Adriana seems to be VS one true star. The way she owned the runway was incredible. And if you paid any attention to the models's social media presence during:before/after the show, she had the most buzz, trending everywhere. Candice is a star ....once you don't let her open the snow. She looked very graceful. Doutzen, ah the angel...her opening segment should have opened the show. That or the one Adriana opened. Did you guys notice how Lilly's walk improved!!!! I felt like cara was going to trip and fall anytime. Is the full show on YouTube? Links?
