I think everyone who achieves notoriety through means that can be viewed as disreputable will face a lot of criticism. It's just human nature. The Kardashians are a perfect example. Like PinkCouture said, starting out as the naked girl was probably a mistake in the long run. It put her on the map, but at what cost?

Emily is famous for getting naked & isn't really relevant in fashion or film as far as I can tell. This goes in the category of "any publicity is good publicity".

Call me crazy, but I think Edita is the best, most well-rounded model in the game. The fact that she isn't caught up in social media makes me adore her even more :-)

I know no one will care, but I must say that I'm very disappointed in SI. Is it just me, or did SI formally have higher standards for the models they selected? I no longer look forward to the issue & I feel like it won't be too long before I feel the same way about the VS Fashion Show. Does anyone else agree that Instagram is really hurting fashion/modeling rather than helping?

While I don't think that she ever had a strong face, you're absolutely right about her making a mistake by doing away with her girl next door look. It really worked for her. Now, independent of her instafame, I don't think the upper tier LA agencies would sign her.

I actually think that because she isn't very pretty, & because the "couple goals" ship has sailed, being "extra" is the only way she can stay relevant
