I'm thinking the last pic might be Chrissy? Fine with me, even if all the haters here gonna hate.

One of my favorites from the casting calls - Stephanie Bertram Rose - put up a pic on instragram today saying she'll be at a beach location for a couple days, Looks much like where they're shooting. Woohoo! (Hopefully) After I first posted this I bothered to look at the previous pic on her instagram, and the caption in my mind pretty much confirms (in my mind) that she's doing SI.

And yet in neither of the last 2 American-themed issues has there been an American cover girl. They somehow put the Swedish Vendela and the Czech Veronica on those covers and the world continued to turn.

Yu Tsai looks like he's in the islands now. Instagram shot of him in a boat looks like it has St. Thomas in the background, so maybe just taking a ride or heading to one of the other Virginis. Said he'd be shooting for 11 days.

I'm curious about the location. Probably U.S. Virgin Islands? I assume they're not shooting again in Hawaii, since the film office report only mentioned the shoot in Kauai. Guess it could always be Guam on the far other end of U.S. possessions, but that seems unlikely. The wall in the one shot looks very similar to the wall Jessica Gomes posed in front of in the 2011 shoot in the British Virgins. So I'm guessing maybe they're doing St. John's again like they did in 08, or it could be St. Thomas or St. Croix, where I don't recall SI ever shooting.

Thanks for correcting my personal opinion. I'd have no idea how to get thru the day unless I was told what to think.

Ariel looks fine. They don't all need to be as skinny as Sara. Hannah does indeed look phenomenal. She'll be a cover girl sooner than later. Since these are the girls from the Route 66 pictorial, seems odd that Ashley Smith isn't included in this ad since she was on the shoot too, right?

Looks like Darcie might be in charge of a shoot while MJ is presumably on maternity leave.

The diversity of that angel lineup is overwhelming.

Looks like Cris Urena had a baby last week. Congrats to her!! Hope she's back in the 2016 issue. That body deserves to be in the issue more than once.

Ariel went to the 2011 Sportsman of the Year functions with Chrissy in December of 2011, 2 years after her up-til-then sole appearance in the issue. She had already shot in Panama and Florida for her pix that year of course, but her appearance with Chrissy was the first indication that she would be back in the issue.

Does Stephanie Bartram Rose leaving a comment on MJ's instagram make it more likely or less that she could be in the issue? Or probably means nothing at all.

Catherine has an interesting look to her, but she reminds me that Canadian models are pretty much always just one issue and done with SI. I can only think of Yasmeen Ghauri and Kate Bock that have made a return appearance, whereas the list of one-timers is long: Dayle Haddon, Monika Schnarre, Lana Ogilvie, Rachel Roberts, Estella Warren, Ehrinn Cummings, Kim Cloutier, Zoe Duchesne and Michelle Vawer, off the top of my head.

Even the secrecy of a SI swimsuit can't beat Freedom of Information requests I guess. The Hawaii Film Office confirms that SI shot in Kauai. Not that that was a secret this time.

And don't forget that Bar was in the South African edition first as well.

Any thoughts on Charlotte McKinney? Another buxom blonde, another Guess girl. Wouldn't be surprised to see her within a year or two. Oh and I was excited to see that Kelly Gale said she wants to be in SI. Would love to see her sooner than later.

There's really no reason to think that the rookies will all be American. SI seems to do these American issues every 11 years apparently - 93-04-15. Neither of the prior cover girls were American - Swedish Vendela, Czech Veronica. And each of those issues had foreign born rookies (not that they were called that then. 93 - Ingrid Seynhaeve, Britta Dubbels. 04 - Fernanda Motta, Jessica Van Der Steen. So if anything, history would favor a non-American for the cover in 15.

Sharam would be an awesome pick, although I almost thought she looked a little too toned in the Target pics this year. Fingers crossed.

The cover models with Veronica and Petra are on Charlie Rose on Bloomberg TV right now. Think MJ, Walter and Jule will be on also. Might be on PBS later tonight or some other night I guess.

Did they do something like they did for the 25th anniversary with a bunch of inside covers? That year had covers of Cheryl, Christie, Carol, Paulina, Elle, and the Sylvander twins.
