We couldn't afford a 4-4-2 otherwise Gerrard would have played on the right. That and a 4-4-2 would leave too much room for the lower half of Milan's midfield and when you leave Pirlo with a bit of time on the ball I think we all know what happens. We contained Milan with a 4-5-1 and they didn't do much in the first half. 3-4-3 is alright... the thing with 3-4-3 is that once again you'll have no control in midfield unless you play a tight midfield, but that would cost you width in attack and defense because you can't play a wingback with 3 defenders hahahaha at the Crouch comment. He is a bit of a twig isn't he? :| Manyoo-Milan was great but Manyoo's mistake was letting Milan play futbol I don't really follow the UEFA Cup too much

Yeah,it was really typical English soccer Liverpool showed last night,but they deserved at least one goal so it doesn't matter whether it was offside or not And i allways wonder how Crouch can play with liverpool,his legs are as wide as a toothpick,when i see him i always think that he has anorexia :| Let's just hope that the CL will be better next year I wouldn't say it was typical english soccer (there weren't that many long balls ) but whenever Liverpool use the 4-5-1 they do rely more on their midfielders to score goals than working in into the box. Then again, with so many players that can hit the ball from far you'd be crazy not to take advantage of it hahahaha Crouchy is great! I love him when he's performing well. He either scores goals when he's playing well or shoots straight at the keeper when he isn't Kind of like Luis Garcia...great at his best but frustrating when he's not playing well I thought Barca vs Arsenal last year would be a great game but it didn't turn out to be that good. I usually like watching the semi-finals because most of the time the best matches are played then imo

Yeh we didn't really have anything going for us, no really good chances but Alonso and Gerrard's long range shots were good and so was Crouch's shot in the box that drew a great save from Dida Kuijt's goal was offside though
