They say injury and lack of fitness but I don't know... I haven't heard anything about Xabi recently and yes, we really need stability at the back. They constant rotation isn't helping.

Sorry. It's an unconscious thing I do. My friends that support Manyoo just avoid talking about them with me

Derbies are derbies. Form doesn't exist. :knives: Chelsea was painful last season. 4-1.

We couldn't even beat Sheffield Utd, does it really matter? If you really want to know which opoonents will be scoring against us: Maccabi Haifa (A) West Ham (H) Everton (A) Chelsea (A) I was full of hope before pre-season because it seemed like a decent fixture list, but no all I see is pain and defeat.

How much does Betis want for Joaquin? No idea. That would have to involve me checking some sites and frankly, I'm too tired Maybe I'll tell you some other time

He's going to be out for 2-3 weeks We are so going to die without Carra

I don't think I've ever seen Ronaldo make ONE step-over. They normally come in sets of 12 or 15 I haven't seen him cross lately, but I never really liked his crossing ability. And why does he take free-kicks? He blasts most of them over the goals. Maybe he took his title of "Beckham's heir" too literally

Valencia might get Joaquin and Betis might end up going for Xabi Prieto. Hopefully Liverpool activate their first-option on him and buy ihm

well at least he's learnt to offload the ball if he can't beat a defender and he's got no vision because he spends too much time looking at the ball, thinking about what he wants to do next instead of looking up and examining the options

    Is that official?

I bet you'd like a defender with the same name playing in the red and black

I beg to differ! I think we should add an extra "really" in there somewhere But Ronaldo isn't that great. He's too tricky for his own good and he could effectively pierce and stretch defences, but he runs around like a headless chicken. What's more frustrating is the fact that he has no intelligence. Talented no doubt, but much to learn he has. He's nowhere near as good as Rooney technically. Rooney can also lift the whole team's performance with his presence. Can anyone really say that about Ronaldo?

They'll have to rely on Saha, who isn't bad and did the job by himself when he used to play for the Cookies... oh and the forward-turned-midfielder-turned-benchwarmer-turned-forward that everyone loves Alan Smith

Reading did really well last season and gained promotion with a lot of matches to spare. Sheffield have a few good names, but I see Watford as the weakest link

Yeh, the penalty was a dodgy call no doubt and I don't see why Gerrard looked towards to the ref when he lost his footing <_< We tied 5 of our first 6 games last year and finished 1 point behind you guys, but we're giving you a head start otherwise there'd be no challenge True. Rooney is half the Manyoo team. It was tragic watching them last season when he wasn't on. He's like Gerrard for Liverpool
