If anything, the new arrivals seem to have caused the squad core to ungel. We're not defending well. Our midfield isn't creating. Our fowards aren't clinical. *sigh* but we can't get any worse...or can we?

Do you know if that Rafael Sorbis is any good? It seems Milan has all but signed him He wasn't impressive when I saw him. The only reason I remember his name is because I was looking our for Rafael (the RB)

They better be :persuazn: They've been doing nothing the whole transfer season :anger: - They sold Jetvic, the 13 year old wonderkid - Sold 2 of our up and coming talents, including Jose Enrique - Sold Pablito (I'm still hunting down an Aimar jersey from last season) - They're forcing Ayala to go - Forced Marchena onto the fringe (hopefully he can reclaim his spot!) - Loaned out Moretti for the next 5 years  Pros: - Signed El Moro - Tavano...if you can call that a pro They better sign Joaquin :persuazn: Joaquin and Vicente on the wings would be awesome! With Albelda and Baraja in the middle! Unrivalled midfield Though I seriously doubt Joaquin will come. That bull-fighting boy is obsessed with Madrid <_<

I think it pissed everyone at Milan off, even the players and staff.

My mistake. There were 2 Rafael's in the Brasilian WYC team. One of Rafael the RB and the other, Rafael Sobis, was a forward

I know but Toni can't dance like Robo-Crouch and GOD is the best He's so intelligent. Rafa always like to buy intelligent players :
  10. Raica but Daniella should get an honourable mention

From what I've seen, he's well-rounded and good around the box. I haven't seen enough footage to evaluate his decision making, but I've seen him lay-off some awesome assists with his vision and awareness. As long as we supply him with chances he'll do alright I guess, but from the goals I've seen, they're not very good. Hopefully he's changed all that and has learnt to aim. I value his other contributions more than goal-scoring, hence why I'd play him more as a SS if given the choice. But apparently I've been misinformed

I think a Kuijt-Bellamy partnership would work best. I've based that on what I've seen of him (which is out-of-date). Do you want to provide an updated analysis on Kuijt for me?

It'd be good to have a 20+ striker that is well-rounded and not too expensive, but they're hard to find at the moment. Rafa doesn't want that either I assume. Ideally, he's bulding a team that has the ability to score from anywhere and the midfield is used a lot in attacks with the strikers playing a more supporting-role compared to other systems where the forward line is considered the main threat. That is not to say we use our forward line purely as support, but rather that they should function with an eye on creating opportunities and tackling down as well as scoring. Kuijt is good because he works hard for the team and he can be used as a target-man. In that respect he is like Crouchy and personally I treasure his abilities like vision and creating assists rather than his shooting. He's well-rounded and can be a threat and from what I've seen, but his shooting leaves much to be desired (I didn't get to watch him at all last season though. Has he gotten any better?)

Kuijt is good, but nothing too special and I feel

I'm still not convinced about his ability to be a prolific goal scorer in the EPL, but then again I don't think Rafa wants him to score too many goals. Just work hard and helpo the team in the final third.

hmmm...I have my doubts now... hope he does well though.

Rafael Sorbis? Captain of the Brasil U-20s (used to be, not sure anymore) An up-and-coming RB if I remember correctly. He was considered one of the better players that graced Holland in 2005 for the World Youth Championships, but I don't know where he's gone now since I haven't heard of him lately. Brasilian football fans don't even have him on their talent-radar anymore

The Liverpool defence has been quite poor but he looks the goods. He had pace, technique, good movement and intelligent runs. He was calm and composed in front of goal and displayed his intelligence around the box with a combination of carrying the ball and holding up play. The only thing stopping him might be fitness and communication, but otherwise he was class. If he was worth 30m, I'd say it's 30m well spent. Too bad the Chelsea midfield got owned by Sissoko

I support them both but I don't support Martins. Hopefully we can sign Klaas, Klose or Kuijt

He was absolute class. A delight to watch and probably the best Chelsea player on the field... I've yet to watch the 2nd half though.

I wouldn't write them off so fast. I get the feeling they'll come good in the first few weeks. On top of their previous squad, they've added some of the world's best players But they'll come 2nd
