Hmm.. well I just realized I can make screen caps out of it .. now what do I do with the screencaps?

Im tryin to make an gif avatar out of an mpeg vid.. but when i select the part of the vid in imageready.. all I get is a black image... i dont get the frames... why is that?

I need caps man!! caps!! my photoshop is in spanish dude!!!! And some word are technical which are hard for my lazy mind to translate.

I needa tutorial to do this.. Duplicate the layer, use greyscale on the new layer then change it to soft light in the palette. Blur it, merge the layers and then sharpen it but if it doesn't look good sharp, leave it blurred.
