She needs to calm down just a little--from what I saw from this year's clips, she's not too bad. Remember, they taped that show twice, we'll see what CBS airs. <_< I like her though--she seems really eager--eager to sell Victoria's Secret, eager to get on the runway...some of us were talking about bored looking models--Selita is far from bored, honey. She looks to be really enjoying herself.

me too! very cathedral-like... surely on purpose. the question is whether vicky's went for the obvious tie-it-in-with-angels theme or whether they wanted to get a little edgy and perverse by making the backdrop for sexy women be that of a church/altar... the ultimate taboo! :evil: I saw some video earlier this morning--I heard bagpipes--it was mixed with techno of course, plus some guy with a bagpipe was playing on-stage before Gisele came out. Scottish cathedral maybe?

We need to get some pictures of her from the VS show into her thread--STAT. She has never looked so beautiful. She is so full of confidence this year. SHE DESERVES ANGEL STATUS!

i saw some more pics of posing she was striking... looks very forced and exaggerated, again. but, maybe once it's in motion and on camera with music, it will be fitting. Yeah...I can agree to that. I like Selita--I do have to admit that. People have this problem with her, that I don't get. Yes, she's very excited and very, very commercial, but that's probably why Victoria's Secret hired her. The only thing the bugs me is that she got Angel status out the gate--and Oluchi didn't. Boy, I love me some Tyra, but that really hit a nerve when she gave her crown to her. Just sayin'.

how did you get your hands on it? i'd LOVE to see it... I only have a copy of the 1st taping in my dreams... Boy, I wish. I saw some of it on the internet a long time ago--when it first was taped. I didn't save the link, so now I don't know where it is. I haven't seen the entire thing, saw some Tyra, Adriana and Gisele, that's about it. I really wish I could find it. I still haven't seen too much of the 2003 first taping, either.

Believe me, babes, we noticed. If you notice, the VS fashion show is shot in digital--they shoot the show twice. A controlled taping, and a uncontrolled taping. The Poly incident was added to the final product for dramatic effect. I really hate the editing for these fashion shows. I've seen the 1st taping and it's so much better than the 2nd one that was on CBS.

It was no problem, my child. You know I love you guys. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I know you love your Tyra--she was the reason I wanted it so much.

The shoe fumble was in the first taping. I think they showed it to give the show a more dramatic effect. With all that editing they do, you can't imagine why. I've seen some bits of the 1st taping. Personally, I really wish they would air the first taping. The models are a lot more energetic. More smiles, Tyra pointing at the cameras, and Adriana is even more breathtaking. That's my opinion. Victoria's Secret and CBS film 2 tapings. The first taping is for closeups, dramatic pans, etc. The 2nd taping is the celebrity filled taping that is basically the Master cut. When you shoot in digital it's best to shoot it twice. On Food Network, some of the shows work the same way. Barefoot Contessa w/ Ina Garten and Everyday Italian w/ Giada, are just a few examples. Those outfits from what I was told were prototypes of designs that could have made it onto the runway. I'm sure the stylists just thought to redress some of the girls after their last walk instead of having everyone where the last outfit they wore. Confusing, but it makes sense. That's more product you get to show to the public.
