I wonder if VS is painting themselves into a corner inviting Sofia, Valentina etc because they’re obviously not what they usually cast, so if those girls don’t make it it will be easy for people to outcry that they weren’t cast because they’re curvier/trans even if it’s actually factors like a poor walk or bad casting impression. I would love to see Valentina. She’s stunning.

I swear I saw that dentist dude post about Sofia Resing going to casting but now the story is gone and I can’t find a screenshot- does anyone else remember seeing that or am I misremembering?

I think y’all are onto something with VS looking for more commercial girls with higher social media followings. I’m looking at some of these girls and I’ve never heard of them before but they’ve got high IG numbers. ex) Dilan Dinez is a Turkish pageant queen/actress with barely any legit modeling work but 2.1 mil followers and she was invited to castings.

I believe it’s September 3+4. It’s usually two days.

This is just the first round of castings with John. They aren’t even seeing Ed and Crew yet. The big casting that they all get done up for and the press really focuses on are the call backs that won’t happen until September 3 + 4. Calm down. It’s not even halfway through the first day of castings and y’all are getting cranky.

Sofia Resing is putting on a fashion show for her swimwear line during NYFW, so I’ll bet you a good chunk of her friends with be walking that- Cindy Mello, Lorena, Gizelle. Could also be why some of them are kicking up the workouts.

Given that VS has really upped the number of non-contract models shooting campaigns (even the Holiday campaign was full of non-Angels) I don't think VS is looking to make the Angels special in any way this year, especially not with 3 outfits.

Robin worked a ton for VS the previous year and didn't make the show.
