She's flawless this woman. I've been listening to her songs since day one. And the new album I think is gonna be a success. People everywhere are raving about it.

I can agree with this. You're in the US, yes? That's whatIf half the people know who she is, that's still fame!! Being famous doesn't require everyone to know you. That's what I'm trying to say. I think it's true that more women than men know who she is. Same goes for Kate Upton who basically shows her breasts every chance she gets. Reason being women are more than men. And they're the ones that can relate to them. But I still believe she (Adriana) is really popular amongst men. Among the VS girls, I became familiar with Heidi first. Because she's, well, Heidi. And then Gisele, I'll admit because of Leo. I couldn't even pronounce her name correctly at the time. I was also familiar with Adriana's face because of her Maybelline commercials but didn't know her name.

Only her belly looks big! Everywhere else is the same.

Most of her commercial projects are in Brazil. High Fashion is great, but unless it's US vogue (which isn't exactly high fashion) it's not that mainstream. Only the fashion people are going to end up taking about it. Something like pepsi would be fabulous. Or maybe perfume commercial or something like that.

  12. Lol. It would be useless to purchase a multi million dollar bra. But then again, rich people are fools

Agencies can only do so much for a model. Especially when you're already established. Karlie Kloss wasn't even in IMG (the biggest/best modeling agency in the world) when she hit it big. She just recently moved there and she was already a name. I think it all comes down to how good a model you are and the level of your drive. Ale is now at DNA and she's still booking quality work. Adriana was at the same agency before she went to Marilyn but she wasn't doing much there. I think she should stay where she is for now. IMO, Marilyn is doing a great job with her. She moved there in late 2008, right? If you follow her projects from then to now, I think it's impressive. Especially the quality of it. She obviously switched agencies to land more work. But of course she's also willing to work more often too. That's the important part. At this point, it's only wishful thinking if we want her to work more than she already is. Also whatever project she's working on with those celebrities, only proves my point on her relevance in the US. It seems like, these days, only Adriana and Kate Upton can book (quality) work in the US. And Kate Moss. Regarding Ale, she's actually quite known. I saw her interview with ABC news and was pleasantly surprised. She's on the same level as Miranda to me.

Lol. Gisele might be working less than she used to, but her covers/campaigns/eds are more memorable than the no name models

Twins. I want. And I so pray she gets that US vogue cover again. I think she's been on more US vogue covers than even kate moss, right?
  17. Lol. Candice is a tricky situation here in BZ people don't love her, but they don't hate her as well. Also, after watching that vs video. I kinda like Miranda better. I think she was making an effort to bond with Adriana, while Adriana didn't look in her direction for a second. That's a little bitchy and I don't like it.

The VS girls are way more famous than your average model. They're celebrities in the industry. Far from being household names like say Tyra, but people definitely know them. People can identify them. In the current rooster, Adriana is Queen. She's more exposed to people than the others. You don't 2 GQ covers (one of them being the highest selling of the magazine ever) and 3 super bowl commercials, appearance in popular tv series', etc etc if you're not exposed to the public to some extent. Miranda is also making it happen. I mean, famewhoring pays off (look at the Kardashians). For Ale, I just think people don't take her seriously, because Lawd knows she tries. The rest are also quite known but not as the above mentioned. The millions of people who watch the show year after year may pick up the names of some of the angels. If they don't, then they probably have brain damage or amnesia. I do believe that someone may be in the spotlight in full force for sometime and then have a faded star afterward. Someone like Paris Hilton. She was one of the biggest celebrities in the early/mid 2000s. But today, you rarely here anything about her. That doesn't mean she still doesn't have a loaded bank account. Because she's running a successful business. Now, from 2005 to now, how many people are now interested in pop culture that haven't been exposed to paris? How many kids grew up and now follows the industry that don't hear her name? I think Gisele is in the Paris situation. You are likely to come across Miranda or Adriana's name than hers today. This is just my opinion though. You can visit each of their wikipedia pages or Ask Men profiles or anywhere else to make your own judgement.
  19. If Doutzen doesn't get the bra next year, I hope Adriana wears it again.
  20. Savanna, stick around this place needs a sober minded individual like yourself. Post more.
  21. We should do a statistic
  22. this is one of the best fashion shows that Gisele ever did. The whole show was epic. Perfect. It takes a pro to walk on a slippery runway. And her chest was dangerous. Also, I've mentioned here before that Leo really can't take credit for Gisele's success. Yea they dated and people knew her. But this woman was going to conquere without Leo.
