In terms of name recognition, VS offers that more than any other modeling contract, including L'Oreal. L'Oreal is a much bigger outside the US than VS, but VS imo is still more important to models. A model like Candice, is still more famous in europe than Barbara even with her L'Oreal contract. I don't know why people still say VS ruins the careers of models. Adriana, Alessandra, Miranda, Candice are doing just fine. And they are not only known in the US

commercial modeling pays more than high fashion. So it's only natural for VS to pay the models more. HF may seem expensive and glamorous but they don't pay the model that much compared to commercial modeling.

How much did Gisele earn this year? Just a little confused because accroding to her profile in forbes, she earned $45 million. Did she earn that last year? Plus she worked a lot more in this past 12 months

So I just visited Adriana forbes profile, and it says she earned $7 million as of may 2012. That's still a lot, but unless she worked for free this past 12 months or VS made some drastic changes to her contract, I think she earned way more than that
