This whole thing is so dumb. Jameela kept twisting it into something else over and over. She insists a vast majority of the models in the industry are doing coke and have eating disorders. That seems like a bold claim. Is this the 90s? Not to mention Sara acknowledged the industry had problems and not once did she defend that. Her entire point was that Jameela didn’t need to bring people down to lift others up and even if Jameela’s intentions were to attack the industry and not the models themselves, she picked a terrible way to do that. Then again, it’s not the first nor will it be the last time she’s insulted and managed to tear down thin people (news flash. she’s thin. has she checked in a mirror lately?) in her efforts to be #bodypositive. Oh wait, she wants everyone to stop thinking of body image all together. My bad 🙄 If she’s going to be an advocate for change and mental health, she’s got a lot of work to do on changing her own tactics because I’m sure she’s harming as many people as she might be helping with her attitude.
I don’t think anyone was denying the issues within the industry, just pointing out that Jameela didn’t need to tear down traditional runway models to uplift other body types?

Leomie Anderson has also been posting a lot about this but I guess since Jameela didn’t directly respond, people will just focus on Sara 😑

Say it louder for the people in the back. Im glad most of the angels are like Taylor and aren’t sO hYpEd fOr VS. They promote bigger campaigns, the show, etc but don’t go overboard with it. I wouldn’t be able to follow most of the girls if they had the too much gene like Alexina and Jo.
