  1. Thanks for the videos, kali, I love how parades Violetta, she´s MAJESTIC ... and yes, the illustrations are by Antonio Lopez, of the mid-eighties, I think Some screenshots of the Goddess:
  2. million thanks, prejean i didnt remember this cover and ed... i think ive never seen it before has visto a linda para chanel eyewear?????? = have u seen linda for chanel eyewear?????? From the blog AngelLover's Scans: Carlo Tivoli Furs FW 1992. Inés by Gianmarco Chieregato. Screenshot of the page of the photographer (G. Chieregato). Low resolution.
  3. Thank you for the scans, fender! Sorry if repost: «¡Hola! Número Especial: Extraordinario de la Moda Primavera/Verano 1991»
  4. You are absolutely right, nico_blue, that was an editorial ("Rétro Verseau"), IMHO, marked a before and after. Were Gia, Robin, Bitten Knudsen... is the March 1979 issue of Vogue Paris.
  5. The photo belongs to an editorial ("Nadja Auermann als junger Siegfried">"Nadja Auermann as a young Siegfried") published in the magazines "Bunte" (Germany), "L'Expresso" (Italy) and "Max" (France) in 1994. In it, Newton was also intended to pay tribute to the statue of the warrior Guidarello Guidarelli in Ravenna (Academy of Fine Arts). I've uploaded in the thread of Nadja.
  6. Editorial ("Nadja Auermann als junger Siegfried">"Nadja Auermann as a young Siegfried") published in the magazines "Bunte" (Germany), "L'Expresso" (Italy) and "Max" (France) in 1994. 7. Thank you for your clarifications, guys! (I didn´t know Clarissa, thanks for her thread, spiral, & Christy looks sooo young in that pic, fender). I answer to myself: the mysterious blonde with Lacroix dress is the French model Magali Lemoine (she worked for top designers in the late eighties/early nineties).
  8. Fashion studies, Milan, 1997. Pola by Helmut Newton.
  9. Maison Yves Saint-Laurent, 1991: Sylvie Gueguen by Helmut Newton.
  10. I like these sentences about the future: "(...) Whatever we do is the past and a small dream of what might be coming" (Jean-Paul Gaultier) "(...) It´s time for everything to be pared down and cleaned up" (Georgina Godley) "(...) Clothes will have to work for life" (Geoffrey Beene) Thanks for the scans! ________________________ They look very similar, although, obviously, aren´t the same person:
  11. Pat Cleveland, muse of Roy Halston, Antonio Lopez (fashion illustrator), Studio 54, Mugler, etc.
  12. Comme des Garçons for Barneys New York (1983)
  13. Josie Borain for Comme des Garçons (1980), photographed by P. Lindbergh and O. Toscani.
  14. The pic of Robin belongs to a fashion editorial published in Stern magazine (I got it from the book Helmut Newton: The Stern Years 1973-2000), but, as with the material of Newton, was proven very wrong. But, indeed, spiral, the coat is of Claude Montana, 1979: a touch martial and New Romantic, aggressive, and pre-fall of the Berlin Wall. The speculation about the future has always been a constant, a leitmotif in the different ages of fashion, but it´s true that in the eighties had a conception of the future more optimistic and hopeful, when actually, IMHO, is more pessimistic, has assumed the omnipresence of Big Brother (G. Orwell, 1984), the advent of cyborgs, etc. A conception, in short, a dystopian future, less radiant presenting the eighties. I don´t know if the pic attached below (a polaroid of Helmut Newton, dated in 1978) belong to the Versace campaign, although the scenario seems identical. That said, to the record, I subscribe all you have said, spiral & fender. Thanks, guys, for your extensive background in fashion!!
  15. Thank you very much for these wonderful scans, fender!
  16. Oh, I love Josie Borain, the sweetness of her face reminds me of a young Ingrid Bergman. And the commercials she did for Obsession perfume, with Jean-Marc Barr... Mmm.. I, honestly, I wouldn´t know for which decade decant me, I´m very unfaithful in that, although the eighties are fascinating, of course. Thanks for the contributions, fender & spiral! A model of the early 80's: Robin Osler. She starred the Gianni Versace campaign FW 1979/80, photographed by H. Newton. More info & pics of Osler here.
  17. Hmmm... I don´t have minded seeing Tania on A View to a Kill, I confess, fender. Or a cameo in one of David Lynch (as Michele Hicks in Mulholland Drive), for example. Good eye, my friend Another model with a similar look: Christine Bergström (I think she also took part in the campaign of Versace´86).
  18. Tania Coleridge (or Tania Harcourt-Cooze), a relative of the English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge. She appeared in the George Michael´s music video " " (1987).Gianni Versace S/S´1986 Ad Campaign, by Helmut Newton. 1st pic from Anna Battista´s blog.
  19. For you fender: Marpessa by Barbieri [Can anyone tell me who is (center) in the Karl Lagerfeld´s ad of 1989? I think this girl with Asian features appeared in the book which made Irving Penn for , but I'm not sure.]
  20. For fans of Violetta: a scan of Vogue Spirit (Tops Models of the World) of , photographed by Franco Moschino's own. Enjoy!
  21. Thanks for the inputs, guys The editorial with Kristen/Rachel/Eva was publicated in Vogue (US), may 1993 ("White Mischief"). Another model from the 80´s: Patty Sylvia. She was on the campaign Guess? Jeans S/S 1988. One question: is this girl (covers from Elle Spain) the Portuguese model Júlia Schönberg or another person? (because according to the BZ thread dedicated to Júlia she was born in 1983, so the dates don´t coincide).
