No man, how could I take it personally? (my previous post was just an informative note) I have also eyes, I´m objective too... clear that Ines doesn´t look particularly well lately... It´s a pity that some models belive that Photoshop can do everything for them. Greetings Pro!

Calm Provolone, I don´t think that this man is her latest affair: Ines was seen recently in loving attitude to than this man, someone with British nationality (... and go 3 boyfriends so far this year...).

Thank you so much for the scan, fender , but the model who appears in the ad isn´t Lynne but Vanessa Duve

  12. You're welcome, aramis 2nd half of the 80s: Charlotte Floussaut-Pelle (1 & 2), 1988. Photo: A. Watson. Via: vogue.it
  13. Thank you all for your dedicated work here: fender, the campaigns that made Lindbergh for Mariella Burani are absolute marvel :wub2: . Capt-bob, thanks for those scans, I didn't knew many of the models you have mentioned . Spiral, these shows of Mugler were unique (I thought I saw Traci Lords and Debi Mazar among girls, what a level of convocation!). Lisa Marie Smith - Alizé liqueur ad from 1988. Source: daluke. Bye
  14. THANKS for these great scans, fender! I though that Andie had slowed her modeling career when she started in movies, but I see that it wasn´t (I'm glad for it). - Charlotte Lewis, Elle (US), January 1986 (promoting the film The Golden Child).
  15. I acknowledge that I met Famke through "Golden Eye" . She acknowledged in an interview in 2000 that "I felt different born into a family with two sisters who are blonde and blue-eyed, with me being the only brunette". Things of genetic inheritance and the European colonies (e. g., another Dutch model, Marpessa, have Surinamese ascendancy), I guess. I have found that male campaign of Versace of 1989 was photographed by Weber, but the female is still a mistery. The idea of the campaign is, to me, a little style Bruce Davidson at the end of the 50´s. Thanks for your inputs, guys: Kisses!
  16. Totally different, of course, fender, you're right. I meant that Linda is there look a bit "beatnik refined" with the ducktail hairstyle a bit, but women and modernized variant, and also, of course, the blouse (beautiful ) with borders... as bohemian, jazz extraction (I'm sorry, sometimes my mind raves ). Jun Kano (Elle US, April 1988). She was the model of Issey Miyake´s book photographed by Irving Penn.
  17. Wonderful Famke, thanks missparker7! Fender, this Linda is very ‘Let's Get Lost’*! I wonder if this campaign was photographed by Weber.. (*): the documentary about Chet Baker. Covers: (1) Elle US - August 1986 -eyes obviously retouched (not by me)-; (2) Elle US - March 1988; (3) Elle Spain - March 1988; (4) Elle Spain - December 1989.
  18. Serge Lutens had a unique talent to combine art with the art direction of advertising on paper and video. No one had a world like his, references Lutens handles are enormous. Definitely, a great autodidact. I love those ads of Shiseido, fender, thank you very much! Seems to me very good idea you propose, fender. Thus not disrupt the natural flow of this thread. A sort of spin-off
  19. Hi everyone, aramis, fender & spiral! Exactly, spiral, we go proposing names each one of us (and collect already been said here in this thread) and go up a list with corresponding links. (This work could be especially useful to identify those models whose IDs aren´t very clear for most of the public, I think). E.g.: Khadija Adams, Anna Bayle, Claude, Anne Fiona, Inès de la Fressange, Sylvie Gueguen, Lynne Koester, Elena Kountoura, Rosemary McGrotha, Anne Rohart, Nicoletta Rossi, Violetta Sanchez, Brooke Shields, Kasha Sobolewska, Linda Spierings, Anette Stai, Amalia Vairelli and so on. Do you think it will be very cumbersome to do?
  20. Very good inputs, guys!!! Some of the models mentioned above after a fashion show of Oscar de la Renta (80´s)... Marpessa Hennink Challa, Iman Abdulmajid, Gail Elliott, Dalma Collado, etc. [indeed, I thought that maybe it would be nice to create a directory or index with the threads of all models of the eighties that exist in BZ, so, who don´t know (e.g., not knowing their names), could go to them (I think many people miss these threads through unawareness and these are very interesting). What do you think? Do you think that would be useful?] Hugs!

Some pics of Inés preparing the film Un amor de Borges (2000)
  23. Good eye, spiral! Carol's features are captivating... looks like a comic book villain or Pre-Raphaelite muse, regardless. Another beauty from the 80´s: Kim Williams. Kisses
  24. Carol Wilson. I´m sorry, I don´t have much material from her, however, I know she participated in many fashion shows during the second half of the 80´s, and I remember seeing her in fashion editorials as well (especially in L´Officiel).
  25. Thank U, fender - Stevie van der Veen (photographed by Steven Meisel). Vogue (USA) - August 1987.
