Models from the Eighties
Charlotte Lewis, model ("Special Assignments Only") and actress (Serie B films, principally), English, from Irish mother and Iraqi-Chilean father. Peter Lindbergh became infatuated with her: gave her the autumn/winter 1986/87 campaign of Mariella Burani and an editorial in Vogue Italia (February 1986) inspired by the indie film Stranger Than Paradise (Jim Jarmusch, 1984). Martin Harrison (prologuist of the book Images of Women) and Lindbergh, behind them, some portraits of Charlotte. Image: Justin Creedy Smith. In Cannes festival, presenting the film Pirates (1986) with the director Roman Polanski and the actor Cris Campion. A color photo of Denis Piel.

Great contributions, guys! And continuing with the androgyny... Sylvia Gobbel (Versace, Lavazza Calendar, Yves Saint Laurent, Big Nudes, Sie Kommen, etc): Viennese, one of the favorite models of Helmut Newton. In the picture (of Newton), wearing an official´s uniform of the French Cavalry at the Hotel Paris in Monaco. More images on her personal website.

Lynne Koester (photo found in a Tumblr I don´t remember). Maybe the pic is of Peter Lindbergh or Albert Watson, but I´m not sure. This woman exudes style. Another pic of Lynne (from l'éditeur singulier blog). It´s a from 1986 by Lindbergh.

It´s true, Provolone, I had not noticed that detail, that the spot on her upper lip didn´t appear in this early photo -effect of photo editing? Is not it a natural brand? Does the incorporated (the mark) after)?-... is rare. Could have sworn that she always had (the spot).

Thank you, spiralshaman! I always confused Laetitia with Stevie van der Veen, I don´t know why. That L'Oréal ad is pure eighties

Hi everyone! Leave a pic of Inés with "montera" (matador hat) by the photographer Julio Donoso (December 1990). I love her eyebrows arch formed

Ok, I'll remember that for future posts, I didn´t know: Thank you for warning. A greeting, modelknowledge!

Carmen San Martín
THANK YOU VERY MUCH, fender! A historic document I would say... how Condé Nast had seen up to that date (1988) to Spain. Simply amazing!! A big hug, charm!

Models from the Eighties
Hello, fender & spiralshaman! I have followed your conversation in this thread and the girl in the first picture -I think it´s an announcement of the first issue of Vogue Spain (April 1988)- with the red fan is Carmen San Martín. Dear fender, can I post this picture in the thread of Carmen (or, if you prefer, do it yourself)? Thanks, I hope your answer. A kiss!

Hi fender! Thank you for the scans: are wonderful, as always . The girl (left) in de Ungaro´s ad I think IMHO that isn´t Violetta, she had hardest traits that girl (very beautiful indeed, but perhaps more "in the style of" Isabelle Townsend) by that time (pic attached, 1988; The Model Archives of Marlowe Press). Regards!

Thanks Prejean - stupenda ! I understand she was 14 ? You're welcome, Provolone: yes, in those pics she should be 14 or 15 years.
