She wasn’t used to wearing heels and her feet really hurt—to the point were she could barely walk. She prevailed and made us all very proud of her. She was very professional—always on time. In fact, she was always early. One thing that Heather’s family told me recently was that one of her dreams in life was to be able to walk in a show, be on the cover of a magazine, and to be in a campaign. Heather accomplished those dreams, even though she modeled for only a year. The most important thing in her life was her family. She loved them so much. I remember hearing her talk about them all the time. She made a calendar for me once that had nearly thirty birthdays on it. She wanted me to make sure that she had all of those days off—all the days were birthdays of her brothers and sisters in Florida, her grandma and grandpa, and her cousins in South Carolina. Heather knew very well what she wanted. She always talked about how much she would like to be an interior designer after modeling. I’ve talked to many people who knew her and they all agree about how huge her heart was. She was the sweetest person I’ve ever met. She only cared about making everyone happy. :droll: She is in the new "Viva!" magazine. It's polish and it's mostly about celebrities, you know. But my mother bought it yesterday and what I see? An interview (it's not short) with Anja and some new photos! There is also a pic of her with her fiancee now (they engaged in February) but it's small. I will see if I could scan it, but from the other hand maybe it's better to translate the interview

haha you know I rarely ask for credit for my scans - actually I never do b/c I find it a waste of time and well, the images don't really belong to me - but mentioning that I scanned them would have been nice. After all, it did take me five hours to scan and edit the entire editorial -_- Besides, hasn't tFS taught us the value of crediting people? Oh...5 hours? So much time! I know there were so many models in this issue, could you write their names here? I know there is Natasha Poly, Hilary Rhoda, Daria, Doutzen, Irina....

I was going to make a thread about her....it's so sad that she died at such a young age. I read somewhere a very interesting article from V about her, but it was translated to polish, maybe I will find it somewhere in english and post here.

Do you really want it now? She is too young her career is still on fire in the high fashion world. VS not yet... she barely walks fashion shows anymore, and she's not that big campaign-wise either, from what i've seen this season... mainstream contracts like l'oréal and VS are what suit her best, and interestingly what pay the most... so unlike Stam, i can perfectly seen Doutzen becoming an angel, it's not like she's a high fashion icon... a supermodel needs more commercial work and public recognition than purely high fashion stuff... Plus it won't prevent her from doing fashion campaigns and editorials (US vogue), look at gisele ! I agree here with you Taben. I was thinking about Doutzen's career last evening and thought it's better for her to sign VS contract than doing (almost no) shows.
