I think the "lifelessness" is part of blair's character though. She's meant to always be a little flat but a bitch, and Serena is quite obviously the peppy (and annoying if you ask me) one. The story lines are soooo recycled though... I almost am starting to feel kind of embarrassed about the fact that I still watch it I mean georgina popping up out of literally no where... when they think they need to mix things up. And in the last few episodes, damn were here lines cheesy! Nate as the editor or chief of ANYTHING makes me laugh his character is so shafted. From the start. So how much longer do you guys think gossip girl will go on? And I'd be interested in knowing their ratings from when they first started to now, if anyone possibly has that on hand. Less viewers? More? Roughly the same? I found this parody to be hilarious! Even though I watch the show...check it out Looks like this parody is worth checking... maybe I'll watch it in the evening They had contracts for 6 seasons. Now the thing is, will the next (last) season be shortened or not. I agree about stories being recycled, especially with Nate hooking up with every new guest star but I think some storylines are quite interesting. Still, I don't know if it's because the show has been airing since 2007.... and for so many seasons... but so few things are outstanding, in a way. I mean, in season 1&2 there were some iconic (iconic as far as the show is concerned, obviously) outfits and songs and now? I can't think of a lot of scenes from season 3-5 that I like to come back to, because of the dialogues or music. Too bad Eric is not in the show anymore, and with Taylor gone... no way to see what the reaction of Dan-Blair pairing would be which is ridiculous if you look at their history. Then again, the characters seem to be so forgiving and/or having very bad memories of recent events

Uhmm, Blair and Dan aren't boring. It seems to me like Blair has always been the more important girl in the tv series, even though Serena was supposed to be the star of the show. I'm not a hater of Blake Lively, but her scenes are so.... lifeless. It's like she shows up on the set but doesn't even pretend or care what she says, her delivery is so flat... I am aware that Blair is a better-written character but still. Besides, what Serena could be doing now? Higher education storylines weren't interesting enough it seems, so no one goes to college actually, lol. And Nate as the editor-in-chief still makes me laugh

well, you probably know by now the baby was Louis' R.I.P. Serenate oh I liked the last episode... I think that Blair looked much better in her sweat clothes than in her wedding dress and I loved her eye make-up.
