I hate hate hate the slow segments of this show. That one with the Jewel song in 2010 killed me, same with the Rihanna one with Ale's heavy wings, I think? Zzz.

The point isn't about just keeping the old audience, who is going to watch no matter what. It's about reaching a new demographic. Which is what they've obviously been doing for a while, see: how huge Pink has gotten. Who is the target for that? Teens and the younger college kids (and wannabe hip moms). So yes, the show is going to make headlines with or without Cara but for the VS show to be in the UK she's definitely going to be a name that comes up whether you like her or not. I'm not even a Cara fan I'm just aware of the changing demographic and how things are marketed. Yes a lot of the angels are huge on social media but when it comes to current relevance, Cara is it.

How does this make any sense when that exact generation is flashing it's ass in selfies on Instagram and managing porn blogs on Tumblr for kinks I didn't even know existed. There's a reason this show is in a later time slot, it's not supposed to be seen by kids and the ones that are around the see it are horny hormone driven teens, the females want to look like them and the males well I don't want to say what the males are doing. Shit, I gotta up my ass selfie and tumblr kink game. I'm letting down my generation. VS isn't targeting their over-priced, poorly made lingerie to older women. Their biggest demographic is older teens and young twenties, and the easiest and cheapest marketing tool to get to them is social media. Thank you, this is the exact point I was trying to make.

To piggy back on them not doing the "sexy" thing anymore, the demographic has shifted to a younger audience of tumblr/instagram kids. It's very social media centered and most social media is dominated by the tweens and just barely adults. That's who they're trying to catch and appeal to, the future buyers not necessarily the ones that will purchase no matter what.

I haven't seen confirmation for her either but I would like to see her in. Body is looking right lately. Just hope if she is she focuses on her killer walk and doesn't get lost in the music like she did the last time she was in the show. Eniko seems to have gone super blonde, not a fan of it.

Is Jasmine like in-in or nah? They better not throw her in Pink again I don't know who goofed with that, should have swappwd her look with Kelly Gale last year that would have made more sense.

I clearly remember her either tweeting or retweeting about the girls looking unhealthy. Maybe she deleted but that definitely happened.

Lily's poses are really wonderful to watch, how she's holding the wings to make them work it's pretty awesome. I will say it again, Sara fired shots directly at VS talking about how the girls they hired were too skinny, all of this in a rage after she was rejected from the show that one year. She was direct about it, Malaika's might not be about the show, it might be about the show but I don't think it's fair to go off on one and praise the other. -- TBH from other things I read it sounded like a break up to me LOL

I see people talking about Malaika's tweets being childish but I remember when Sara was rejected she kind of went off on twitter as well... Lily D is not lookin' so hot in this stream... Still love her but she looks like death, maybe it's the makeup?

They could have used better pictures for that. The only one that looks sort of good is Doutzen but the rest of them have weird face things happening.

Who said all the blondes look alike? I just said there was a sea of basic ones that get through. There are girls that I like who are blonde that I'm hopeful for, but the majority of them do nothing for me.

Oh man, definitely miss Jessica and Noemie as well. I'm sort of a Chrissy fan too.. She might be an acquired taste for looks and I get how she can be obnoxious but I also see when she's hilarious. I like that she uses the hell out of social media unlike some of the other girls that I find to be quite boring in looks and in personality, or just have one but not even a fraction of the other.

Jessica is hardly dark skinned, she's alright but if Chrishell Stubbs was still actively modeling I'd rather see her in than Jessica. Her VS pics from a while back were really nice. She's got a killer body and she's gorgeous.
